Cool New look for my Xfire!

I just got some vinyl that matched the wheels and door handles and put it on the windshield and headlights. What do you guys think?

Looks good. A suggestion for the windshield: Run a strip of vinyl vertical instead of horizontal and make it look like the split windshield on the prototype. I think it would look pretty sharp!

that does look good, but maybe something else instead of the vinyl something like what was used on the concept...

Thanks everyone for giving there opinion!!! I still have not decided if I'm going to leave the vinyl on the windshield or not, everyone I ask around here where I am says that they like it better with it on. I don't know I will have to think some more about it...

Just for the record, you guys do know the "split windshield" effect on the Crossfire show car was the windshield wiper, don't ya?

Jim Bell, I do have one question. With the vinyl on the windshield, how do you ever see the traffic lights?

not trying to rain on your parade, but i'm not a fan, it looks cheap and out of place, imo.

That is one feature I wish would have made it to production. It is pretty obvious if you know it is there, but easily undetected. It blends in beautifully with the "spine" theme through out the rest of the car.

I just stop a little further back than usual.

Nor did I. What a cool thing - too bad we didn't get it.

I didn't realize it was the windshield wiper either.
I still don't think it would have got an MOT having the wiper park in the middle of the windshield.
Not sure if you have MOT's in the States.
It's an annual test to make sure the car is roadworthy.
If not I don't think it would have been passed as safe.

Norrie.
