They are giving away free Chrysler Crossfires!!
Great car and a great bargan !
Howdy Newsters !
I joined this club about two months ago and still can't believe how much car I have for so little money. I had a jealous co-worker say something like, "Well I guess, you got a salary increase", then I rubbed it in by telling him how little I actually paid for the car. He walked away muttering ," jeez that's what I paid for my Hyundai..."

I've been watching the Steve White Motors listings on ebay. Stopped by a week and a half ago and saw 6 base coupes on their lot. Monday, I bought a base coupe at Westside Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep in Mocksville, NC for the Steve White price ($18.8k).
Wheels, Hoosiers, and Koni's are on the way...DS autocrosser in the works...BS RX-8 for sale.

Bill00,
Steve White really was the best experience I've had out of the two dozen or more new cars I've bought. I didn't mention it earlier, so as not to confuse the issue, but by the time our dealing was finished, they took off a $500 document fee and I wound up paying $18,300 for my Crossfire. Now, I also had my Magnum as a trade-in, so who knows how much I really paid. I do know it brought my payments down more than $100 a month, which was one of the goals they met for me.
You must live near me. What town? I'm in Concord.

cross1,
Once the number-juggling was finished, I believe they gave me around $18,500 for the Magnum. KBB says I could have sold it privately for around $21K (only had 36K miles), but that could have taken weeks or months, and I wasn't sure how long the Crossfires would be around at this price.

Re: They are giving away free Chrysler Crossfires!!
I've been reading the forum (Great info here) and when I saw this thread, I felt I had to add my experience to it. As of Tuesday (5/22) Steve White sold another Crossfire and it's sitting in my driveway now.
I had been looking at some other cars but as soon as I saw this one the deal was done. '06 Black Coupe Limited with the Cedar interior and Auto tranny for $24.5K
The initial deal had been struck over the internet and I was looking at the few used Crossfires I could find on local lots to be sure I could even fit in the car (I'm 6'4"). Tried an '04 coupe on for size but with the seat all the way back the dash was pressing into my shins just below my knees so needless to say, I was nervous about the whole thing. Much to my relief, the '06 fits me like a glove. I wonder now if there's some difference between the '04's and the '06's or if there was something stuck behind the seat of the '04...
I only have two complaints about the car so far. First, it is way too easy to go faster than the speed limit. Second, the black paint shows fingerprints and attracts bird crap.

I'm sure there is no difference in the seating positions between an '04 and an '06, it just takes awhile to find that sweet spot sometimes.
Enjoy your Crossfire, and I know you'll love that interior, we've got the same one in our Alabaster '04.
