Default Xfire Date

Wee finally got a date and we're going in my xfire. Washed and waxed it today, I think I'll get some serious brownie points.

Attached is the young ladies pic. Wish me luck, I always hit something with my past cars when on a date, distractions.

enjoy the date...

as much as you love your crossfire... don't make the car the topic of conversation... trust me ... she'll appreciate it.

Impress her by showing her how long you can keep the wing up!

Lol the date is only a couple hours away now. Wondering if I should febreze it or let the leather smell come out.

Lol shined shoes? When was the last time you had a date? We already discussed we're casual people, t-shirt and jeans. Now the tulips are a good idea. Charming and sweet but I'd feel like a weirdo showing up with flowers for a girl i met online.

Heck no. amg is right!!! Casual people or not the polished shoes is a good idea. I know girls that your shoes are the first thing they look at. They appreciate the fact that you take the time for the little details. Don't believe me next time you go out watch your woman get ready. Women are real interested in the little things.

Hmm I don't want to be dressed in a collared shirt and she is in a t-shirt or something. I went out and bought a nice t-shirt, brand new. Also I don't wear tennis shoes. I wear hush puppies.

AMG is right. So what if she shows up in a t-shirt. You should always show up dressed better than you think everyone else will be dressed (budget permitting).

Well now its a matter of my wardrobe. Being that I'm a chef, i never really got any fancy clothes for interviews and stuff. Chef interviews are in your chef uniform.

I'm already going to get her some flowers from the florist shop nearby.

So this won't do? (see pic)

Not unless you're going to a Metallica concert.

Come on, you can do better than that.

Flowers = good idea, just no roses, and nothing too big.
If it were me, collared shirt (we call them polo shirts 'round here). Your call on jeans or khakis.
You can still were a 'polo' shirt and make it casual too (think untucked, jeans, & Birkenstocks perhaps).
Dunno man. You know you and her better than we.

Good luck.

I honestly have no collared shirts that i'd feel comfortable wearing. I know "how" to look nice but all my decent looking cloths are kind of old. Hell maybe I better get my *** to the store.
