Where I got my '05 SRT in Ct. the salesman said they had two trailer loads of new/old cars come in that week.
Most of them were '05 models. Still wrapped in the factory plastic. My SRT was still covered in glue inside and out.

mine still had the glue everywhere also. the salesman keep trying to get me back in for a good clean up, but i hate sitting around at the dealer so i haven't went yet. now that i past 2k miles, i might go back and also inquire about the car sitting so long with out a tune up. it may have had one, but if not i'd appreciate the free oil change.

When you say "glue," do you mean white schmutz at various places around the interior? I have that, too. There was a prominent rectangular one on the inside of the driver's door that the dealer scrubbed off but I think he may have slightly damaged the plastic. If this glue is indeed the same white stuff that's in my car, what's the preferred way to get rid of it?

When we picked up our '05, I had to spend a good 2-3 hours getting all that glue off the outside. Had that one spot on the driver's side door that you are talking about...I think I just used some alcohol to remove it.

Great news to hear!!! I am starting to think they lost mine in Germany somewhere. I have heard nothing about it and it has been 8+ weeks since I ordered it.

I called in my VIN number to Chrysler and they told me that my car has departed the second rail stop. So I am guessing my car is in the country and it is on a train heading towards michigan. So I am guessing that my car will be here soon.

Fuzz 40,

Who did you talk to at DC - was the company car folks? My '07 silver, LTD landed in Baltimore on the 21st. Surely it doesn't take thirteen days to travel from Baltimore to Indy.

I didn't call company car at all. I called chrysler customer services and they informed me that it left the second rail yard. They told me this june 1st, so hopefully it will be arriving in Michigan soon. If they told you the cars landed in baltimore on the 21st and informed me that it was on a train this last friday, that means they should be here soon.
