are you talking about the lights on the end of the hatch? when you open it the are there, 2 white ones? if so, they are your license plate lights, not hatch lights, they come on when hatch is down and head lights are on.

Next question... how do I reach the glove compartment... ?!? to change the lights there? I know I can probably figure this out myself, but just don't want to risk the possible damage.

- Thanks for your help

Now i don't know that, but im sure it can't be too hard. I can take a look on my way home and work and let you know what i think. Or maybe try using the forums search for glove box light.

Funny stuff. Many of us fell for the same trunk light issue...
Don't feel silly.
The glove box light, The whole plastic housing slides out the front.

Do you have to remove all the screws or just pull on it in some non-obvious manner with unneeded force?

Cool Re: Trunk Lights?

In my Roadster Limited inside the trunk on the right side there is a light that only comes on when the courtesy lights are turned on.

The glove box light is removed by pulling the whole plastic lens out from the front.
It is one piece.
Once the plastic lens is removed by pulling it forward the bulb can be changed.
The bulb will be attached to the plastic part.
