Could be nerve damage, I am not a doctor or anything but I would check it out ASAP. I am not much older than you are and the same thing happened to me, minus the telephone pole and accident. Walked around for 4 days with the sensation or lack thereof and found out that I had a heart attack. My cardiologist said that these things can creep up on you, even if you are in good physical shape. Don't want to see any thing happen to you, so go have it checked out.
