Xfire's Best Features
Re: Xfire's Best Features
I handles corners well. hehe.
Plus it has that little strap on the back of the passenger headrest...anyone figure out what that is for yet?
If you set the alarm and have the roof down, anyone opens the glovebox...the alarm goes off.
If you don't put the e-brake all the way down when you begin to drive a chime sounds.
I think that is all for now.

Yep, that seat also has the appropriate anchor steel loops down in the back of the seat where the back meets the bottom. I call it the loose change valley.
You can turn on the fog/driving lights without the headlights on. Turn the headlight switch to the first position, then pull it out one notch.
The headlight switch also features a european marker light setting where you can turn on the marker/running lights on one side or the other of the car. This is for when you are pulled on the side of the road at night (besides the hazard lights). Just turn your headlight switch left, past the 12 O'clock position one position for one side and one more for the other side.
Floor mats have snap anchors so they don't slide around.
You can turn off the dome light completely via a sliding the dome light switch to the off position. So, even when you open the door, it will not come on. Nor will the cargo area light.
Not necessarily a feature to some... If you turn off the traction control at the dash switch, it will only reduce the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) by 80%. You can't shut it off via this switch. This is a safety feature, but for some of us it's an annoyance at the track as things like trail braking are nearly impossible with the ESP interference. You can still fry the tires on the SRT6 with the traction control turned off though.
Full independent front AND rear suspension.

Re: Xfire's Best Features
Here is a story to go along with the looks and features.
I am in Indiana for a family reunion and I go out to my car to drive off. As I am walking out to my car I notice 5 convertible corvettes and their owns looking at my car. Well I get in and proceed to put to the top down on the roadster. Well I forgot something in the trunk and as I am walking towards the trunk all the corvette owners are just staring at my car and then one speaks up and asks " is that an automatic roof?" I reply yes, and he then tells me that he wishes he had that feature on his car.
So even corvette owners admire the looks and features of this great car.

- Lets not forget the Decklid Internal Emergency Release. That is for some reason that you find yourself stuck in the trunk (I don't want to know how or why you got in the trunk to begin with) that GLOWS in the dark.
- Then there is the worlds best ash tray located in the convertible.
- Not one but two vanity mirror sliding covers.
- Page 105 of the manual, 17. Electronic Digital Clock, I was really getting tired of my previous vehicle where I had to take it out of the dash and wind it.
Not really the best features, just some things I though I would let you all know about.

That is me weeping uncontrollably.
I think it got up to 20 here today, but it is dry and I managed to get mine out (w/the top up) for about a 10 mile jaunt.
My wife is in FL this week too. Many times a day when I am at work she calls and says 'Guess what I'm doing? Laying by the pool. It's ~75 here today.' Then I hang up in disgust (not really).
Have fun on Sunday tanning and such. I will be inside watching TV and shivering.

- I love the OEM wheels. I think it makes the car.
- The automatic spoiler.
- The sound of that roar when to step on it.
- How about it makes us look HOT...
- The rear end view.
Re: Xfire's Best Features
Did anyone mention the REST position on the A/C button. I used it last summer to keep the car cool, in 100 degree Texas heat, while refueling. I'm going to get to see if it will keep the car warm next week when I drive up to South Dakota...retired at last on 3 Mar '07!
