Default Anyone else feel this way?

OK I'm a new owner and am crazy about my crossfire! When I bought it my feeling was "keep it nice, baby it, and don't take it to the extreme". All of this was fine and well except maybe the last part! While awaiting my cleaning products this weekend I decided to just take the XFire out and see what she could do! I can't believe in the 3 weeks I have owned this car I have not done this sooner? I was amazed at her acceleration in 3rd and 4th around the 2,500 - 3,500 rpm range and loved her cornering. I am just wondering, am I alone here? Did anyone else buy this car saying "very nice" then take her out and say "Hell Yeah". Yes I'm embarrassed that after three weeks I finally opened her up, don't know what I was thinking!

Any similar feelings?

Hell Yeah Man! You gotta for lack of better words "Drive it Like You Stole it!"... Then talk it home give it a nice wash down and let it rest.

Then do it all over again!

I always have a little fun before I do the weekly washing.

Talking Re: Anyone else feel this way?

It happened to me too... but I didn't wait to long to see what she'd do.

Often people tell me I have a great car. My automatic reaction is to say "The more I drive it, the more it grows on me."

I honestly didn't know what I bought. I thought I bought a nice little sports car... but I didn't.

Same feeling here...

Bit by bit I learn that my sweet XF can handle more than I think.
Each time I take a ride through my town, I always increase my speed to check how she handles the "daily" corner and each time I have a smile.

With my XF I dare more than with my last car which was a Porsche 993, that was a dangerous but fun car also, but I was more careful because the Porsche was unpredictable, especially in rainy days...

Cheers.

Still waiting to experience the feeling. Got mine on January 3rd. Drove it to work (6 miles) and back twice, put gas and STA-BIL in it, and its been 'stored' ever since.
It's driving me crazy. Come on warm weather!

kmag52, I see you are not too far from Detroit. Are you going to go to the Woodward Ave. Cruise in August?

It is the weekend of 8/18 in Motown.
It looks like a bunch of us from the forum are going to go.
This site tells all about it:

I can almost hear the engine purr from here. Started mine up yesterday.

Just finished turning her off. I had her running for about 12 minutes. Man, she sounds nice. Maybe I'll join you guys at Woodward.
