20 degrees and Michelin PS2's = you better be careful! I almost hit a curb this morning and I didn't think I was being that aggressive... the salt, cold, and summer tires do not allow for a lot of fun. I can't wait for the warm weather, I hope the PS2's are all their cracked-up to be!

I washed and waxed up both of my crossfires today and then put the top down and just drove. It was a helluva feeling. I have not had a chance to just drive and enjoy it until today. Look at my pics.

FP, I know it's a 4 hour drive for ya, but believe me, it's worth it. I'm hoping some "Detroit area" forum members put something together where we can all meet up with each other. Maybe tour the Chrysler museum on Friday, locate a nice restaurant for Friday evening, then pick a spot where we could all hook up on Saturday for the Official Cruise.
Because there is so much to see, and it's so crowded, and it stretches out from 8 Mile Rd. to long past 15 Mile Rd. it's nearly impossible to think that we would all be able to stick together on Saturday. But certain points along the way could be designated as gathering points at pre-ordained times.
Ford, Chrysler, and GM all have huge exhibits, and there are individual car shows in parking lots everywhere. Some neighborhoods along the route close down entire blocks of streets for "show" car parking and display.
For anybody in the Ill, Ind, Ohio, Michigan, or Western Penn. area, it's something that is well worth seeing.

Thumbs up Re: Anyone else feel this way?

I was surprised when I went to the track last year and put down a 14.8 @ 94 mph and it was my first time down the track in a stick car. Go to your local dragstrip and run the car a couple times, its alot of fun, trust me!!!

60's in central KS. Salina temps were darn cold teens to low 30's for 5 to 6 wks. The warm weather will head east. Enjoy the Crossfire weather!

I checked them out, but they are in pretty bad shape. I asked the guy for additional pics, and the chrome is lifting from the face side on a couple of the wheels. Not good.

Feel This way? Heck wait till you start buying things like car covers $300, ECU upgrades $450 - 600, Sprint Booster's $270, and making sure your precious Xfire has nothing less 93/94/100 Octane because she deserves only the best, and you would really like to take her out but it looks like rain,...etc...etc...

Then your you are really bitten, and smitten!

It only gets worse by the way... But isn't it fun?
