And am sure the organizers are open to suggestions from enthusiastic voters and participants to make the next one better and the next next better better.

 

DITTO... I think this is a good start... We now know a few things to make it better for next month... One of the things that needs to be changed is the clarity of the instructions.

From what I'm reading it seems as thought people are voting already?? I know it's the first month and the instructions aren't that clear but we should make a submissions page and state you only have 1 week to post your car or the 10th car is the last. After 1 week you can close the thread (so no submissions are made). Then, create a Poll with a link to the thread with the submissions.

This is typically how I've seen other COTM's go. I say to be fair we close the submissions on 2/14 and then have 2 weeks of voting (since not everyone is on all the time). This would be the fairest way to do it. I was planning on entering but if voting is going on as we speak then I'll wait til next month when the rules are ironed out.

Based on the way voting is going it looks like the majority of owners here like the Crossfire aesthetically stock.

 

I think your right...BTW i like your rims, i've been thinking about rims i'm not sure what would look better, black or chrome.

 

Without trying to put anyone's wheels down. I truly feel the OEM XF wheels complements to car the best. I see a lot of beautifully wheels out there, but on the crossfire, you can't beat the OEMS, Chrome even better. Just my .02.

Why not do both like I have, black with a chrome lip? The stock rims were the only thing I didn't like about the crossfire when I bought it; they remind me of giant sunflowers. I think a set of black rims with a polished lip would really compliment the blacked out look you have going on there.

 

In reference to mods voting, I say why not? I don't really see the conflict of interest with you guys voting on your favorite car.
