I gotta check this stuff out otherwise I never know for sure...

Cgocifer,
Could the squeaking sound be coming from your suspension? I can hear mine squeak and groan if I stop hard and bob the front or rear ends.
My engine idles quietly but does occasionally give a very slight shake. Now if you want to experience real stumbling and loping, get into a single engine general aviation plane and run the engine at idle - especially if said engine is cold.

I just got my car and there are no abnormal sounds emitting from the engine. It sounds a little like our old 93 Maxima engine. i must admit you guys are scaring me!
I have an 03 Nissan Altima 3.5 with the equivalent of 80,000 miles and it runs smooth as silk. With the mods I have, it goes like stink.. Its downside being some torque steer and the complaints from my wife when i walk on it.
My Crossfire isnt insurable yet so its stting in the garage taunting me.

I have the normal whirring/ticking. I can also feel that slight stumble you mentioned. Probably the quality of the gas we use (winter gas here). With the motor turning at a mear 500rpm (or whatever it is) the slightest inconsistancy will be noticeable. Don't know if I'd class it as a misfire though. It seems much more subtle.
