I have an '04 with 17K on it and the problem I've had is with the shift lever itself. When I would lift to shift into reverse (on occasion) the whole shift lever and boot would come off in my hand. The dealer fixed it by tightening a nut in there somewhere. But the forward gears are a pleasure to go through in my experience.
