Correct, I do not want to come across as mean, but all I am saying is that if you don't like the car, just sell it. Not everyone on this site has had car problems or dealer problems. I go to Jake Sweeny Chrysler and they are awesome. I take my car in for service and it is done fast and complete. I have had no problems with the car.

Maybe there needs to be a forum for people who hate the chrysler dealers, cars and service. They could all comfort each other.

I'm Still searching, if you find one let me know.

Please respect.
for less than 30k it can't be done. but if you don't mind spending more money alot of people have gen 2 vipers, and they now hold their value and somewhat appreciating already. as far as racing, hot rodding and using it daily -- i have seen a few vipers with 150,000-200,000 miles, maybe you should get one like i am.

as far as telling me to sell my car you misunderstand why i am selling my car -- i don't by any means hate chrysler, the dealers, the cars their service...i hate nothing about chrysler...i have absolutely no problems with my car, but you say sell it, like its easy...lol. in case you haven't noticed no one and i mean no one is buying these cars.

jp2005,

I'm sorry you hate your crossfire, you've obviously had some sort of trouble, but what happen to trading it into car max and getting a Z06?

no i don't hate my car, and have had the car 6 months put 10,000 miles on it and have had absolutely no problems. but i am wanting a car i have wanted since the first time i saw one at a very young age (like 4 or 5), now that i can afford one, why would i not purchase one.

a corvette is still a corvette i see about 6 a day, 3 new ('05 or newer) and 3 old ('04 - '97) and thats only driving about 10 minutes worth -- out of those 6 generally 2 are Z06's.

i have truly enjoyed my xf, as i have said before it was my first car loan and i had to start somewhere.

JP here is a quote froman earlier thread, when you read it is implied you dislike the Crossfire,

Re: So Happy with Crossfire Can't stand it!

i totally agree...with the last part. i don't like it so i'm trying to get rid of it. not for an accord or camry, but a viper or slk55, and trust me i can't wait to part with this thing.

This is your own writing "I don't like it". It is ok if you don't like and my comment was based on what you said in the earlier thread.

No hard feelings, we hope you sell it and get the car of your dreams. This forum is for people who love the Crossfire. We all complain from time to time, but it is a man made vehicle some are going to have some problems. just as any other car.

Some dealers are going to be viewed as bad, but...not all Crossfire owners are perfect either, I am sure because I know I am not.

...

I have driven a viper, no thanks, no that's a stiff ride and I can afford one, I choose not to have one. I think its awesome that a 20 year old, whom financed his crossfire can afford a 60k ride. kudos to you I wish you the best with the sale of your crossfire. BTW 400+ sales for august with 0 in advertising cost. Actually if you really think about it sales are pretty good for a car with as little promotion as the crossfire.

the crossfire should have sold A LOT more cars. i agree, and if it did sell alot more cars their would be ALOT more aftermarket, so their would be a nice twin turbo kit i could buy, and i would keep my car...i don't see many reasons why 350z's sell ALOT and crossfire's don't except for that reason...

i don't like my xf anymore *never said i hated it*...would you still like it if you were trying to sell it and chrysler sucked so bad at promoting it, its damn near impossible to sell just 2 years later? i was talking to a client the other day who had bought and sold 3 350z's since they've been out and he's says all were gone in less than 1 month.

but i have never hated it, and in all honestly truly enjoyed it. its just time to move on, and because of chrysler's advertising no one wants this car, so i can't move on.

Kinda bringing this back from the quasi-dead.

Anywho.

I know how you feel that is how I was a year or so into the crossfire. And the reason I still have the XF.

Did you lease it? If so you got an out.

If you bought it. I am truly sorry.

i purchased the car, many of you don't understand...i truly enjoy the car, and feel their isn't really a much better car for the price, but i don't need to stay in the price range of this car... i just wish it had more power, or an aftermarket turbo/supercharger... my crossfire can still can put a big. on my face from time to time.

i would have already traded it in on an '04 srt10, but i have been in litigation on my license since march 6th, and my final hearing is on dec 3rd, so if all goes well on that date i will probably bite the bullet and get my viper asap, but if it doesn't go as planned, i will keep my car til it sells--or until dec 3rd, '07 or close to that date *which i hope someone buys it after a damn year*.

looking back i am glad i didn't get the srt10, because now i intend on a gen 2 viper, so everything happens for a reasons.

You might think you're pretty clever and funny saying this, but just because you're lucky enough to have found a good dealer doesn't mean you should make such stupid comments. Some of us love the car, yet are constantly turned off by dealerships and service departments that supposedly can never find a problem with the car unless we take time off from work, go down to the dealership, grab the service manager, and take him for a ride in the car personally. I've personally done this 3 times in 3 weeks, and the frustration almost drove me mad. I'm on my third dealership/service department now and luckily everything is going pretty good.
