Personally, I think the color makes the car look a little cheap. Or could it be that DC trying to go with a safe color and cater to the older car owners that tend to enjoy cars in toned down colors?

Again, just my opinion.
Thanks Andrew. Sharon I agree, infact I dislike this color more than the classic yellow (sorry doll). This looks like old people gold. LOL.

It doesn't look like gold like I thought it would. It's more like ... champagne.

I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show in Jan and it doesn't really match the gray interior or the black top.

However, the new silver color is outstanding.

Does anyone know what they are talking about here..."Chrysler Crossfire Roadster offers a hard tonneau cover for the cloth top," ???

Unless I missed something, there doesn't seem to be a huge difference in the '05/'07 models other than some the airbag modifications, color options.

I think the color may be prettier in person than the picture. I do think the rims might clash a bit, but I doubt I'll see many '07s in my parts. I have laid my eyes on only ONE roadster other than mind and the one in a Chrysler show room.

I'm sure this is referring to the boot or the part that lifts up and allows the top to be hidden underneath it in the trunk. They are definitely not referring to a hard top convertible.

Our cars already have new generation airbags, also they have Occupant Classification through what is called a BUCKLE SENSOR. That determines if more force is required from the bag if the seatbelt is not fastened and our car also already has seat belt pretensioners and ALR's from (Automatic Locking Retractor's) from Mercedes. The only thing new is the knee airbags and the new silver and gold color that's it. Do research and you'll see that our car already has those kinds of airbags that deploy in two stages.

Cool Re: Must Read !

There are no changes for the 2006 and possible 2007 models other than new colors offered, a price increase and the demise of the SRT6. I really doubt if there will be a 2007 model here in the US, I have a friend who owns a Chrysler dealership in Bay Shore, LI and he said that there are still a lot of units sitting on the docks and dealers are not taking delivery because the cars are not selling he also said that they will probably be sent out to lower end car rental companies to be used as rentals.

Well if anything else, anytime we get a rental car through Enterprise because our cars are in the shop, we may have the chance to rent one of our own!

I personally do not see that as a negative... I mean, you can rent all the other DC models, so why not ours? I really did not like the fact that I had to drive other lower end cars when mine went into the shop.
