Received mine today as well ... am going to the store to pick up Zip-A-Tone lettering to add my Build # and Date of Manufacture. I will take pics when I am done. I will also let others know the point size I will use, just in case others are so inclined to do the same.

Thank you very much Karl!

Received both yesterday. Very nicely done; thank you.

But what exactly is "JB Weld"? Sorry to show my ignorance, but someone has to ask the question. Thanks again.

JB Weld is a product that is basically a weld in a tube. This will permanently a fix the plate to the engine. You can buy it at almost any auto supply. I bought mine at Autozone. Really good stuff.

Great; thanks. Better safe than sorry, of course.

You'd think that if they were going to make a plaque, the picture would be of the actual Crossfire and not the concept, IMO.

Copernicus,

When the idea first arose this was brought up. It was decided that the concept that spawned the Crossfire was the best choice. BTW the "they" is me. These were not developed by Chrysler, just another Crossfire lover on the forum.

I finished mine last night and plan on doing pics today.

Zip-A-Tone is a brand name for rub on letters/numbers. They come in many typefaces or font styles. They can be purchased at most hobby stores or art supply stores. I got my from a place that supplies the engineering industry, ie, drafting equipment etc.

Pics coming soon ...

I think the concept picture is perfect for the plaque. Due to the fact that DC has chosen NOT to continue long term manufacturing of our cars. IMO our cars are STILL concept cars in their present form.

Adoni, just a note. If you are using the zip a tone material (dry transfer letters) that I remember, just be careful with them over time...they will scratch off. I'm going to go the engraved route. I'll post a pick when mine arrive and get the engraving done.

Point taken Sennaspirit... That is the downfall of those letters ... When I was doing the lettering, I messed up a couple of times, just scratched it off and redid them ... I am debating using a clear spray fixative like we use to do on some of the graphics that were done in the office I worked in.

If it comes off ... I'll go the engraved route. I did do pics but they don't look too hot, too dark etc etc. I'll park the car in the drive tomorrow, it's supposed to be BEAUTIFUL here.

I really would like to purchase a dash plaque. Do you need to send me a paypal invoice, or would you prefer I just go on the paypal site and send you the payment? Thank you.
