I didnt get pulled over, i figure he was just in awe that a car that sexy could go that fast.

Same as in my '61 E-Type convertible -- an indicated 135 mph, and believe me it was a lot more stable in my Crossfire than the E-Type!

I've done 130 before running out of road. I agree, very stable indeed, esp w/F! A/S tires.

Fastest I have gone was about 145 on I-275 in St. Petersburg, FL... It was about 3am, I took that route coming home from College everyday. Normally it takes me about 5 minutes to go from 5th Ave (the on-ramp) to 54th Ave (my exit). That particular time it took me 30 seconds, lol. I think it wanted to go faster, but I started getting a little nervous... it's a cop trap.

Not going to lie and say I obey the speed limit laws but at the same time I realize if I want to go really fast I just take my other car to the track.

I have been 143 in this car and should be near 150 next year with a small shot of nitrous.

174 mph, ooops I didn't mention I have a modified SRT.
160 according to the Speedo in the '04 Limited. The limiter stop any further gain.
My SRT is programmed for 185+ and whats really cool is it will do 150 in 4th gear!

I am hoping to top it out this winter if I get to do the trip I am hoping for.
Mike

All right. I'll confess. 150 on a toll road on the way to Owensboro, KY. Had to slow down to pay a toll. Best $.50 I ever spent. Cop was waiting for me on the otherside. It was my pleasure to pay the ticket for 80 mph with a smile on my face.
