How fast have you been in your Crossfire?
Re: How fast have you been in your Crossfire?
Nope, One should act responsibly and never drink when driving insanely.
Just remove the rev limiter and have a good tune mod from Eurocharged. Car does not know when to quit.

Re: How fast have you been in your Crossfire?
Was late when traveling to Lansing from Detroit once. Didn't even realize I was doing 130 in traffic, I just knew I was -very- late. O.o
That's when I said the hell with it, next opening in traffic and a straightaway, I found the top end at 155ish and felt pretty good..then did 70 the rest of the way there. I felt I had done enough life risking for one day, not to mention the fuel it sucks down then, ouch.

Three years ago, I was getting onto a 4 lane highway. Some young idiot shot me the bird and went around me. Dont know why but it just pissed me off. So I cought him, he was running 120 in his about 95 mustang GT. I cought him at 145 with my Filipina wife beating my shoulder to slow down. Called the HP told him I was beside the idiot...hahah. He told me they would stop HIM in the next town, me too if i was still running that fast...True story.. still have the bruses to prove it

This 6 year 7 month long thread has 200 posts, and nearly 10k views, and it has always mystified me. Why you may ask? BIG BROTHER!!
Am I the only person here who thinks our respective insurance companies can do a simple google search just as easy as the next guy?
Call me paranoid, but I just don't think it's in your best interest to publicly acknowledge at what unlawful speeds you have reached.
(Even though I personally know that everyone of you were actually on a "closed course" when ever you attained these lofty speeds).

I've only been as fast as the point where the shaking from my CF hood starts to cross the line from "that's weird" to "holy **** this thing is about to fly off my car"

I think your bigger concern might be the fines from all those dating sites you're on, lying about your age and level of fitness

Back when I first bought an American AA1A, I found it would cruise at 112 knots indicated at 4000 ft, 76 deg OAT.
I claybar'd and waxed it, and then saw 114 knots in same conditions.

Unfortunately FAR 91.117(a) hampers most of my fun. Figuratively-speaking.
