Proud new owners!
Proud new owners!
My wife and I picked up an '05 Crossfire today. 15K miles, 6 speed of course. It's Silver Sapphire with grey leather. We love the car. We had it narrowed down to the Crossfire or the Audi TT. We think we made the right choice!
I'll post a couple of pictures in the morning. Thanks, and great forum. I enjoyed reading here last night to help make our decision.

Re: Proud new owners!
Here they are as promised. This car is awesome! Turns heads everywhere you go. I just went and filled it with gas and had a guy ask me what it was. The ride is awesome, power is great, and the smoothness and luxury feeling are really nice. Here she is...

Re: Proud new owners!
Welcome. Almost the best color too.
Wise move on the window tinting. It was the very first thing I did too. Here in south Florida, it's a must. Beyond that, I think the XF looks half painted without the tinting. I love the way it looks. I also got the band across the top of the windshield tinted. The windshield seems so short on the XF that I was initially hesitant to have it tinted, but it looks GREAT and certainly helps with glare.
Now, go get those front brake pads changed to Rotex Gold!

It's the wife's car so we'll see what she wants. I think I'm going to paint the brakes red though whether she likes it or not. I have still only driven it like 15 minutes. She's coming up with lots of errands to do so she's got an excuse to drive.
Re: Proud new owners!
Chuck, do a search on the Rotex Gold brake pads...
Without them, you will be a slave to washing the front rims every 3 days. If you want to keep that baby looking good all the time (like most members here are fanatical about), you'll see the value of this one mod will be profound.

Thanks for the tip...and yeah, we're just as meticulous. We didn't buy an '04 here in town because the dash looked like the previous owner took his dog everywhere. They swore up and down their guy would make it look like new but I knew that was BS. This car was owned by a Chrysler exec before and luckily he valued his job. The car is perfect.
