Rough idling...
Rough idling...
Hello,
I have a 2005 Crossfire Coupe. It has 11,000 miles on it. I treat the car like a baby- keep it in heated winter storage for 6 months with no driving. I have another car. Problem: Lately; when I come to a traffic light or a stop sign- the car starts to "shake"...and rumble in the back area... and the engine makes a hesitation like it's going to stall. It is periodic. No warning lights come on in the instrument gauge cluster panel. Then the engine subsides-smoothes out- and quits the rumbling and vibrating like everything is ok. This will happen after being on an expressway driving high speeds- and having to come to a stop light -- or it will happen right away first starting it up in the morning- and going 1 block. It's sporadic- but recently has become worse. I did take the car into the service dept- because the said it "coded" for an ERG Valve. That took 1 month to get part in. Thought that was the problem. It wasn't. It's acting the same way. Of course today; I took it back for service- the dealership can't find anything wrong- naturally the car wont "act-up" for them during their initial test drive to see what the problem is. Any suggestions of similarities? The dealership is looking at me like I'm making this all up?
Thank you.
