Hello all.

I remember reading on the threads where someone was having problems with the gray paint (finish) was flaking off on the inside of the car. I don't Armor All. I tried the search and can't find the original thread. I want to go "armed" to the dealer when they tell me it is not their problem. Had the car for two years and I know this is not normal!

I have a 2004 black limited coupe with all black interior. My car is very well taken care of and I am still having a problem with the paint coming off of the center console. It makes me so mad. I took it to one dealer who said that it was normal and wouldn't do anything. I just took it to another dealer this week and they said they would order a new console. Hope it works.

 

I found the previous threads. Check out below. I have a 2004 Black six speed also. The car is mint except for the center console. It is a wide spread problem and not "normal" wear. Here you go:
