I appreciate all the work you have done tino, however I didn't want something that would obviously look like aftermarket. And unfortunately that is what yours looks like to me. I hope you get enough people to buy it to make your effort worthwhile. It is just not for me.

I think DC had some spies on this website and liked the original photoshop XFIRE grille. Almost an exact copy. Realized everyone didn't want the mini-van grille.

Just my personal opinion but I think that Sebring grill looks a bit 'aftermarket' too. I seems to cover too big an area, with too fine a mesh, and is too flat and recessed. Perhaps it looks better when you see it for real.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I've read through all 47 or so pages of this thread and still haven't found what I'm looking for.
Does anyone know where to find a Crossfire grill similar to the 'Bentley' style grills seen on many Chrysler 300s? Ridge up the middle or not, it doesn't matter to me.
I like the stock grill and the only way I would replace it is if I could find one of those.

I looked at the CTD grill on here, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Any help is appreciated.

maxwell: we don't use fiberglass on the grill. we use PU. many OE parts are also made of PU, so be sure its not a cheap quality product.

andrew should make a 2nd thread for the real group buy and all the members who want to join the group buy, so we can discuss in this thread.

i have asked long long time ago how the grille can look like. but there was no ideas from the peoples who don't like our grille now. so i think its not my fault. they just have miss the chance. also its not possible to build a near 300c or a bentley style grille on the crossfire. the shape and the angle from front to hood are to different.

Is there a reason we can't see a painted picture on a crossfire?

Man, I really hate that f'in Sebring and Chrysler for that matter. Kill a quality car and replace it with a cheap piece of sh*t that tries to look just like it. You suck Chrysler. Too bad the government bailed you out in the 80's.

Never never never will I buy anything from Chrysler.

If a manufacturer were to have a mesh grille they certainly wouldn't have an extra piece of fiberglass around the outside. Too much extra manufacturing cost. They would have made it like DC did on the sebring. trim it out with chrome(plastic). And DC certainly wouldn't have put the pontiac rib down the center.
LOL its my opinion that other peoples opinion are crap. Its my opinion ya know.

Like I said, IMO there are some people with bad taste, not a big deal.

But what you saying is that it looks like crap because it doesn't look like a bean counter designed it? LOL gotcha.

Bottom line is if you were never interested in the grill then your .02 are just to be an azzhole, and no I'm not pointing that at you

Tino I'll buy your prototype if you want to sell it. And if you put it on EBAY, IT WILL SELL!

Andrew,
Please remove me from the list (ZERACER) I am attempting my own Billet Grill instead of mesh.

Sorry about that!

Upper Mesh Grille (Black)

Thanks!

There are so many pages dedicated to this subject it's hard to remember everything. I remember that the company said they had a distributor in the US that should lower the cost of the product. Did this happen? If so, just for clarification, what would be the price of the upper grill, painted? I would really like to get the grill, but I need to get the total so I can tell my better half what I'll need. Thanks.

Well after reading through many pages of idea and opinion, I have decided that I like the prototype the Tino has taken time to put together any would like to added to the list doing both upper and lower, with the rib on the upper being painted to match the windshield surrounding.
