andrew, thanks for the colour codes.

i have fitted today the grille on a crossfire and have made some pictures. sorry for the bad quality. this was the best i could do with my second small cam.

but finally you can see, that you don't see, what's behind the mesh.

also don't make rumours about the price. the price is not yet set. we try to make all forum members a good offer.

I'm new to this thread and just noticed the pictures of the grill, is there any chance you could possibly make the framework a little thinner, it just seems too large, maybe if you painted the frame black it might work better.

DynamicsS, I believe the frame is supposed to be "Body Color".

~ once painted... i think the end result will look very appealing! and the center spine follows the hood line nicely.

ok one of you photoshop wizards take at least the first of tino's picture that shows the entire car and color in the white to black so it doesn't look like a clown's grin.

Hmmm kinda makes me think of an Acura TL. I ordered some alabaster PPG today and am using it for the license frame, inner grill, windscreen surround. $40 bucks for a pint and time. That's all I need... and this thermos.

~ imo opinion... that car is using nothing more than chicken wire for a grill... no comparison to the ctd grill.

Irafatsar, We'll be looking forward to your photos of the finished product.
Totally off topic, but thanks for changing your "avatar", your old one really "creeped" me out.

the grill was not painted yet. it is still the proto and not the final. but we are happy with the frame design now.

to think about: on the bottom the bumper have a big smooth plate. we have try to put the grille forward to make the big plate invisible. sure we can make thinner frames, but in this case you must drill your bumper. and this is not what we want. in the last picture i have posted you can see, that the grill will be fit like the original. you have the clips on the bottom and the plate with the screw holes on the top.

Too funny, I'm glad you said it. I think I've been the only one razzing folks over their avatar. But it was creepy. Thanks Irafatsar, I can sleep now.

I think it would look better chromed, that way it would match the emblem. photoshop that and let's see what you get...
Also the center divider might be too wide, it's distracting.

DynamicS, If you look closely, the center divider is exactly the same width as the center spine that begins above the emblem. I think that's why they made it that wide. Once it's painted to match the car, I think it's all going to come together quite nicely. IMO

CTD great job that looks FANTASTIC! Do not listen to the little children here who wish to make their car into Honda Civic. There are people here who appreciate you even doing this on request. I made this request to you over a year ago and you followed through, good job.

It makes the front of the car look right now. If you like that garbage grill of chicken wire not only do you have bad taste but you should sell your Xfire and buy a Civic.

Hate me all you want, but you people who are negative just for the sake of being negative are drains on society. STFU already.

EDIT: Car in picture must be washed! Haha.

That grill looks like absolute ****. If that's the look you're going for, go to Pep Boys and buy some ricer mesh for $19.99.
