hello,

here is the new frame... the mesh is only a rest we have put behind the frame. it is not the final version.

if you have any suggestions, please let me know asap. i have in mind to make the middle bar thinner on the bottom. maybe anyone can make a photoshop to check how it looks like.

Looks nice I'm just imagining it in black with a heavier grade of mesh...I think this one may be a winner! Any pics of the type of mesh that will be used in final product?

I would rather not have that rib in the middle, but more importantly, I would want to have the mesh come out to the level of the factory grill instead of being recessed into the frame.

forget the mesh at the moment. the frame is important now. the grill looks to empty if we remove the middle brace. you can test it if you make your own photoshop.

here is another side view. so you can see that the mesh comes out more compare to the first version or any other grille you have seen.

I am definitely interested in the grill. I have been to CTD's Website and do not see an option to order custom parts that I have seen on this forum (ie. Gear Shifter).
Please let me know when you have this available.

Thanks,
AJ

Looks great! The frame is the most important, because of the development that is involved. From here its just painting and getting the right mesh.

Thumbs up Re: CTD-Germany Custom Front Grill Group Buy

Looks great Tino, glad to see that you have not given up. Would like to see the frame in chrome in the final product and also a bit thinner, jmho.

we have already made the frame much much thinner than the first one. i believe, it dont look well if we make it more thinner than now.

regarding the mesh, i try to get another mesh. now we have use the same size like the jaguar xjr mesh.

its not planed to make the grill in chrome. i can offer a painting option maybe.

we have only a few hours to find the final design for the grille. deadline is 7th of december 11am CET. so this is the last chance to change a bit the design.

we only talk about the frame. the mesh behind the frame is not so important at the moment.

maybe you have a better solution for our grille. make a photoshop and start a poll.

the time is running.
