I just read the frustrating post in reference to the second grill that almost was. I see the last post from CTD was on Sept. 11th. There was a remark made that it appears that CTD has also lost interest. Can I assume this vehicle is a pariah (sic)? This is the most beautiful car I've ever owned. It's a shame that the outside interest for it is almost nil. I thought with the news of the 2007 model coming out things might change, but I doubt it. I wish we could get 1/2 the play the Solstice or Miata or Sky etc. get. Even if we got 1/2 that would be a lot more than we get now. This post is not going to change anything. Just venting.

we haven't lost the interest on this car. we have new interior parts and also we have a new windscreen that coming out soon. the problem with the grille is, that we need a car to make the grille perfect. at the moment, we only have the front bumper, but this is not enough. its difficult to find a customer in germany who give us the car for 1-2 weeks.

No worries Tino. You guys take all the time you want. I for one will wait. We really appreciate all your work so far. Hopefully we can show you that by buying your product when it is done.

Agreed. But what are the "new interior parts" mentioned in your email?

If the mesh grill is not a dead issue, I would be interested.

Just in case there are still people out there looking for mesh to make a grill from here's a good selection of heavy gauge stainless meshes. Its mainly for architectural use but that means its a step up from the usual flimsy stuff. Weight conscious racers look away now.

Dear Mr. Guettler,

It's Thomas Park from Korea (it's quite strange that I am "communicating" with you on this forum). ^^ I will definitely be looking forward to your new product! (Thanks for your continued support for the Chrysler Crossfire).

Tino,

I have two problems with the Xfire. If you can make an attractive alternative to the Chrysler minivan grille, that solves one. Replacing that plastic console and bogus cup holder with aluminum, wood, carbon fiber or other material would be great. I'd be an enthusiastic buyer of both! Keep us up to date.

ha, judging by the lack of responses we have. i told you this was bogus. even if it comes out next month, six months for a freakin grill!!! what a joke. everyone could have made their own for about the same price by now.

^^^ Oh please dude, just be quiet. We don't need this little kid **** here.

Sorry but at least he is trying. I have several of their mods on my car and am glad they make them.

edit: On a side note Tino the only thing keeping me from buying the other interior stuff is that it is not "contoured" to the curves of the pieces it covers. It has flat edges. It should be rounded edges. A perfect example is the gear shift cover. Instead of just sitting on top it should cover the contours of the bezel. Hope that makes sense.

CTD-Germany, Tino,

I'll wait until hell freezes over if it looks good, fits well and is well manufactured.

Thanks, Carl

Tino, I am looking forward to the grille.
An aggressive but tasteful front spoiler word be a great part to make!
Startech no longer offers one. I have been toying with making one for myself but I don't have the facility to mass produce them.
I'm sure it would sell well, could be cool...
I like the one on your site but obviously it is a one off as you don't sell them right?
If you do I would love to buy one.

Ignore this idiot. He makes himself look dumber every time I read one of his posts.

Keep working on it Tino.
