05' Base Pricing…

Does anyone know what new ’05 Base coupes are selling for in today’s market? My local dealer has one but their price is $24,999. I have heard some Base coupes have sold new for under $20,000, is this true? If so, what is a reasonable price I should look to pay.

I purchased mine back in January for $19,999.99 with Conti All Season Tires. I know there is another guy in this forum that paid less than I did. Good Luck.

Dealer ad in the May 28 edition of the Detroit Free Press auto classifieds was for a base coupe at $18,895 plus taxes, title and plates. The tiny insert in a larger ad showed a picture of a Limited with the usual disclaimer that pic might not be of the exact model advertised.

Bought mine in April '05 for $25,599.00 + tax with 8,500 miles in it. I put a little over 500 miles on it before I actually bought it. Probably anything around $20,000 would be reasonable now.
