Hello from a newbie ... no Intro Forum found
Hello everyone! I just happened to find this site. I looked and looked for the Intro Forum so I thought I'd take Spiff's idea and post a thread.
My name is Adoni ... it really is. It's Greek for Anthony. I am the proud owner of a 2004 Alabaster White Crossfire Coupe. I purchased it about 3 weeks ago. I was looking around for a sports car for a while ... did some shopping so to speak ... definitely did my homework this time. I live near a newly built "autobahn" style country club and see all sorts of exotics coming and going. That's what got the 'new car bug' biting hardest. I had emailed this one dealer in town about finding a Crossfire, he said he'd keep his eyes open but nothing on the horizon. One day I get this email ... a Crossfire showed up at the dealer ... I go see it ... sit in it and start it up for my test drive ... the odometer read ... 000141 ... I asked if that was for real. I was told the Chrysler rep was the only driver and she didn't drive much but it had been maintained to keep the seals and such from drying up. Well ... the low mileage plus the price tag sold me. And I am very happy I did. I traded in a 2003 Santa Fe, and it's taking a little bit getting use to being low to the ground again. (After college I bought a beater MGB and rebuilt it, so I was somewhat use to being that low).
I'm a mechanical engineer/designer and the lines are really cool.
I'm also an amateur musician and the cargo area holds my saxes and flute easily. I play disc golf and have custom made a disc holder that looks factory installed. As I get more acquainted with the site I'll upload some pics.
That's about it from me ... I look forward to sharing with everyone.

Which dealer did you buy from? I got mine a few weeks ago from Continental Chrysler in Countryside, IL a suburb of Chicago.
Mine had 11 mile on it but was officially "used." It was won by a woman in a raffle. She never drove off the lot. She swapped it for a big Jeep SUV.
No, there isn't an Intro Forum. I had suggested it but apparently either to the wrong folks or it was not something the Admin wanted to do. Shrug... No matter. The way things have been going here seem fine as it is.
Welcome from another new member. You'll find lots of very useful post. Do some searches or just poke around.
Cheers,
Steve
