I was thankful to have sent in the paperwork last month, and it only took 2 days to get signed up to order. Since alot of new leasees and others haven't submitted there paperwork, its now taking 5 days to get everything in order.
Good luck on ordering.

Well, ours is now on the way... Mom wanted convertible so no srt and they only had stick conv. left. So looks like a limited coupe...that sliver sapphire blue color/dark slate interior. Hopefully gets here soon!! Oh and thanks Dr Pooley and SRT6 coupe.

No problem. Can't wait to get my red roadster. The system has been showing "in transit" since Monday but still supposedly not at the dealer yet. At least we are going through a cooler period here in Philadelphia area right now so top down driving would be limited this week or so anyway.

Wow, I'm new to this forum. It's nice to see that there are alot of DCX employees/family members here. It seems most of you work in and around CTC/DCX HQ. I work at Jefferson at the Jeep Plant. All of you are correct in how the company car program/shipping system works. There are a lot questions in regards as to when your car will arrive. I've mentioned in an early post in a different thread that for some reason SRT's take longer to arrive at lapeer after the KZ date. The KZ date is the ship date. For instance when it leaves Baltimore it is KZ/KT meaning in transit to lapeer. If you use the Hpims screen to track your car using your vin# you can pull down traffic info, sales info and historical info on your unit. However the traffic screen is not very accurate and is sometime incomplete. You can't rely on that screen to determine the arrival of your xfire. On avg. my calculations show that once KZ'd it takes 2-5 days to be trucked from Baltimore via commercial trucks not Cassens. Since it doesn't take that long to travel from Bmore to Detroit I would assume that some mechanical work is being done to replace fluids, correct any recall issues and hopefully check tires, since they have been sitting for 2+ yrs in the same spot. At that time it is delivered to lapeer in probably a FIFO (First in First Out Inventory Method) and awaits paperwork. So some you may get lucky and receive it 5-10 days after KZ. In addition don't confuse the KZ date with your order date. Your order date just tells them to find your car in the mass of 5,000 xfires. Good Luck everyone. I hope to get mine next week. My co-worker just picked up his 8 days after the KZ date.

I'll be sure to wave at fellow SRT6 owners, could be one of the few I've been talking to on here.
Enjoy the car!

detroithokie, no problem. Hope you get yours soon.
srt6coupe, let us know when you pick yours up. It is always a treat when you pick your car at lapeer. They do make you feel special. I'll be sure to look out for you out there.

Re: Any Chrysler employees order a Crossfire recently through their special deal?
my car says lapeer road, but it doesn't have a ship date or arrival date posted. does that mean it's about to get shipped to lapeer, or maybe on it's way there?
on another note my dad's just arrived today. he said they had a film on it to protect it from the sun, but the sun actually melted it to the hood of the car. upon trying to take it off, some chips of paint came off all the way to the primer. they couldn't get it totally off either, there's still a few little spots but you can't really see it if you don't know it's there. they tried to touch up the paint, but once home we noticed a few missed spots. pretty ****ty.

No new updates really. It was delivered to Lapeer on 4/29 - been there ever since, no call as of yet. Also had another co-worker tell me his has been sitting at Lapeer since last Wednesday (4/26) and hasn't gotten a call yet either.
So, we just sit and wait hoping to get it sometime this week. Or next week, or week after... You get the picture!

Re: Any Chrysler employees order a Crossfire recently through their special deal?
Like a kid waiting for christmas morning to arrive. Can't take it. I live right down the road from lapeer and I visit it daily and check out the cross fires on the lot. I've noticed a smaller amount of cross fires on the lapeer lot, especially today. Don't know why? Maybe about 50 of them compared to 150+ the last few days. Also mine definitely shows shipped from Bmore on 4/30... since now it is 5/4, 2 days at most for transport that puts it at 5/2 or so and I still haven't got a call. The title is at lapeer with a date of 4/29. Don't know what the hang up is. FYI, a couple of guys rec'd their cross fires and the transport screen was not updated, still shows in transit. Another thing if you visit the fast feedback site you can go to the company car fleet screen and pull up all leased company cars from there you can see how many crossfires are pushed through lapeer a day. About 45 per day. Good Luck everyone, I'll let you know when I get mine.
Re: Any Chrysler employees order a Crossfire recently through their special deal?
You guys are lucky, at least yours are shipped!
Mine is still sitting KZ in Baltimore, I'll probably be the lucky one who's getting a car from the very back of the lot.
As of tonight, my SRT-4 is sold and the guy drove it away.
Now I really can't wait for my SRT-6 to get here!

Re: Any Chrysler employees order a Crossfire recently through their special deal?
Mine is now officially sitting at my local dealer lot. Just saw it tonight. Now need to wait for the papers to show up to get it registered. Should be sometime next week.
Funny thing is that it is a base model roadster, yet it has the same style wheels as the SRT- polished aluminum multiple thin spokes, not the normal painted aluminum spoke wheels... there's another one there on the lot that is also a red base model roadster with the same wheels. I checked the Chrysler website and there is no way to order different wheels from the factory on base or Limited models. Weird.

Re: Any Chrysler employees order a Crossfire recently through their special deal?
Y'know I saw a base coupe the other day with SRT wheels on my way to work. Maybe the plant ran out of the 5 spoke and gave you a free upgrade. We occasionally do that at JNAP when we run out of base options, we give the customer a free upgrade.
Eraser76- you the man. Congrats! I was hoping to get a call today from lapeer. No deal, guess another weekend without my car. Still hoping for a call tomorrow.

Ya, I have heard about that special edition package. I believe the color was inferno red and it also didn't have any of the silver colored accents on the exterior...they were all blacked out. It also was a base car with cloth black interior.
