Largest concentration of XFires in North America
North, south, east or west, does anyone know what region of North America (US and Canada) has most Crossfire owners? I drive the Chicago expressways and within the last year I see one every other day.

Re: Largest concentration of XFires in North America
i dunno about the largest concentration, but they're all over the place here outside detroit! i live close to the [national?] headquarters in auburn hills, and with all the incentives and employees around here it's crazy. there's 4 in my family alone (dad, grandpa, uncle, mine on the way), and i'm pretty sure to say not a single one of us would have it if it wasn't for the employee discount.
when i visited phoenix/tempe for a week a couple months ago, i didn't see a single one!

I live here in the Moline Illinois area...personally I only see one other X-fire... I own a black 2004 (that I just love driving to and from work, I wish I worked farther away from work!!!) and that other crossfire is gray. I love that I don't see a ton of my car driving around. GREAT head turner and the lifting of the sunglasses to see it...such a great car! Its my baby!
Re: Largest concentration of XFires in North America
I'm on Long Island, NY and can go weeks without seeing one. Once the weather gets and stays warm though the number increases a little. We have a weekly Sunday morning car/bike nut gathering at the beach on the South Shore. From 7:00 AM on, every car and bike nut on Long Island drives in to gather and BS. The numbers can be in the 1,000's on a good Sunday. I'm proud to say a few weeks ago there were as many Crossfires (mine) as there were Ferrari Enzo's (1) and Porsche Carrera GT's (1). There were 360 Modena Spyders (around 5-6), Testarossa's, 308's and just about every Vette on Long Island but only one Crossfire until I left and then a couple of our other listers showed up. But Crossfire are not the only scarce cars here. To date I've only seen 3 Solstices (or is it Solsti?) on the road and none at a dealer. So its a little unusual here. Porsches of every kind, Vettes and BMW's are a dime a dozen. There's usually a Lambo or 2-3 at the gathering but I've only seen 2 Crossfires there including mine.

I concur with maxxm on the Phoenix scene. I drive about 70 miles a day across town on the freeway, and if I am lucky, I will see about 1 a month...and sometimes I bet it is the same one!
Re: Largest concentration of XFires in North America
There are a lot of Crossfire Coupes in Southern California. On some weeks I'll see two or three or I might not see any for a month. Although its more common to see them cruising around. Maybe, as Pink Floyd would put it, I'm loosing my amazing powers of observation.
Even though there are quite a few in the LA area, apparently it's difficult to get them to show up for a hookup.
Three showed up.

Re: Largest concentration of XFires in North America
I see some here in the Philadelphia Pa area but these owners don't seem to want to wave back at me...
It must be because they know mine is cooler.
I had one lady in a silver crossfire yell at me at a red light, "Hey I love this thing" We took some twisty roads together, It was nice.

I live in Clovis, NM (pop. 32,000), counting mine there are at least five here in town. Was visiting my daughter in Rochester Hills, MI last summer, saw three all stopped at one signal light near her home. So, I have to agree there are a lot in Detroit.
