It should be called the "final edition" package.

hm, i'd like to see this:

"Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat paint treatment and Dark Slate Gray cloth seats, cast-aluminum wheels, a black windshield surround and satin silver door handles and side louvers"

anybody know where any pictures are? i can't seem to find any anywhere. i don't even know what they mean by black windshield surround and side louvers.

You left a word out of your "I don't understand what they mean". The satin silver door handles and side louvers are what we all have if we're not driving a BASE Coupe or Roadster. The Black windshield surround is what you have if you ARE driving a base Coupe or Roadster. And the wheels are what you get if you're driving an SRT6. So basically you're getting a concoction of leftover parts combined to make a SPECIAL EDITION. Oh, the seats are also from the BASE, correct all you BASE owners?

I got my '05 Roadster in March '05 and I thought the Special Edition came out after I got mine.

i was just talking to my dad and it looks like he has the special package, so apparently his is an '06. i always thought his was a limited by looking at it, but when i asked him about it he said it was a base. i was like it can't be, base only comes in black. guess he was right and i was wrong. turns out everything listed for the special package is on his car, including the wheels which i love.

I have seen this car on the road, and it looks VERY attractive. Other than the lame interior, the exterior enhancements make it looks very sharp and handsome. The wheels are not exactly like the SRT-6, they are actually graphite in the droves of the rims and bright metallic on the out side layer of the 15 spokes.

Here is a pic:

yep that's definitely it. i just went and checked because the black around the window looked different, but sure enough it's there. i never noticed that.

sorry i don't want to post the vin, though i don't think it'd really matter. i'm positive that they've got the special edition now anyways.

If you don't want to post the entire VIN, that's cool. How about looking at your VIN number and telling us what number is between the two X's in this example: 1C3-AN69LX?X-022156.

If he can't post the LAST 8 digits only, that tells me it is BS.

Play nice... not everyone wants to post their VIN, myself included. All we need to know is what number is between the two X's.

OK - I'll bite.....why do some people not want to post their VIN??? I'm just wondering what someone else could do with that information. Please enlighten me.
