Chryslers at Carlisle 2024 Winners List
Chryslers at Carlisle 2024 Winners List
To All
The 2024 Chryslers @ Carlisle took place last weekend, July 12th-14th. There were fewer Crossfires registered for the event this year. As a result, only one category was set up, "Crossfires". In previous years, there were 8 categories, SRT6 Coupes, SRT6 Roadsters, Limited Coupes and Limited Roadster and Crossfires with at least 4 modifications. All base and SE models were included in the limited categories.
Congrats to the owners and I highlighted (Green) the Crossfire winners for 2024.
Regards,
Dennis

I agree with your assessment of the "Mopar" crowd has not accepted the Crossfire as a true Mopar, since the manufacturer was Dainler-Chrysler, emphasizing the name Daimler as the primary and being manufactured in Germany by Karmann. The Mopar guys that own newer Chargers/Challengers will always point out to me that portions of the suspension are attributed to the E Class Mercedes Benz!
I attended the Carlisle/Chrysler events from 2007 through 2019 with my SRT6 Coupe and it was noticeable of their negative feelings about the Crossfire, considering it as a Mercedes Benz, The RED HEADED STEPCHILD that Chrysler couldn't service, and Mercedes Benz refused to recognize.
This is a common scenario at other car shows as well....
Just my 2 cents,
Dennis

The attached link contains the photos of the "Featured" vehicles at the event. Years ago, there would be a parade of vehicles on Sunday (last day of the show) that won the trophies (1st thru 3rd class and specials) and they would be awarded their trophy plaques. I didn't review the photos, so I don't know if any Crossfires were photographed. I believe all three Crossfire winners were members of the forum in the past. I have no idea how many owners participated in this year's show.
The last time I was there in 2019, there were 2800 cars/trucks that attended.
