Who's to say that I wasn't a potential buyer? Sorry didn't mean to be critical, hijack thread or offend any SRT owner.

BTW, just bought and picked up a 2005 Black SRT6 Roadster with 20,800 miles (no mods) for $12,999 this weekend from a used auto dealer in Houston. Just sayin....

Bring it over Richard !
I'd love to try out an SRT6, never had the opportunity.
I'm sure we can find something to do to it even though it is practically new !
( stickey key fix and those SS brake lines maybe )
You probably need to get a belt wrap kit and one of latemodel21's pulley guards too.
NeedsWings DCAI ? EC tune ?

Buying and selling are obviously two different things. Buy cheap sell high. Everyone likes to do it. His price is HIS price. Take it or leave it. He bought it new, took care of it, garaged it. That is worth something if you are buying to keep. Not if you are looking for a deal on a daily driver. He's not out of line considering the facts. Hope he gets it. It will take a cash buyer though. No one loans on 10 yr old vehicles or above book value.

I agree as well. This forum has and will always be the best for advice in repairs and information on bettering your car but when it comes to valuation of our cars it falls way short of the respect our cars are due. You are shooting yourself in the foot on this one. Values are based on demand not book. Just look at Mecum or Barrett Jackson . The bank wont lend you a dime on a 57 Thunderbird, but demand will give me $45,000.00 for mine. Now I have my SSB SRT6 on ebay for $18,500.00 based on condition mileage and over $10,000.00 in performance and handling. I have performance cars,
classics and Harleys. The only reason to sell is to move another classic in. Good luck y'all and Merry Christmas!!
Just sayin!

I while back i was looking, found a few with low mileage and low price but the re were things on the cars that needed repair, paint, tires, wheels just not clean cars, now if this car is clean, stock, under 20,000 miles, need miner repair to make it showroom condition then it is worth the money to the right buyer, and it is a roadster ,,winter is just the wrong time to sell a roadster ,,,unless u bring it to south Florida. LOL good luck with your sale.

Thanks George, I'll be in touch in the new year. Definitely sticky key fix and swap RCM like last time. Have a few minor things to do, cigarette lighter, antenna base....Kenwood radio, TPMS, refinished/lathe wheels. Cars in over all great shape...a few scratches and curb rash but nothing major. Definitely going to replace IC pump with the #10 Bosch. I've got the tune ready...just not sure if I'll do a CAI, pulleys, etc.. Probably keep it close to stock for now.

Happy Holidays!

Try a credit union.

With today's subprime auto credit market, car loans are easy.

Dealer was asking $25K for my 2005 LTD NA. I for sure didn't pay that much, but did agree to pay over KBB since it only had 5K miles.

CU never looked twice and did 100% loan at 3% interest.

Credit Unions do take more of risk. But banks don't. While waiting on insurance to settle on my totaled MB, I had to buy a daily driver for my wife. I found a really low mileage 2005 Tahoe. It took a credit union to finance it. Even though it was only 10k...
Haven't heard back from the seller....on this thread. Either scared the poor guy off or he's waiting for spring...which is the best time to get a roadster sold.

Sent you an IM, I already have it packaged up, I'll get it out tomorrow, too late today.
Once again, the gasket and mast are all that's of use, the base with wiring is not right for the Crossfire, although it might work.
I didn't try it.
