2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
SOLD - 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
Very rare 06 srt6 coupe coming for sale on the market, we're giving crossfireforum members first shot at it! Daughter on the way, wife just moved up to a larger vehicle to accommodate so it's time to let this fine vehicle go to a loving home that will care for it as much as we have. This is female-owned, always garaged, and never smoked in former daily driver we are listing up for sale. Always been kept up on service with currently ~61,130 miles, oil always changed with Mobil1 synthetic. Needswings single air intake with larger xtreme filter upgrade.
Toyo proxes t1r 285/30 tires on the rear and stock size toyos on the front, will update with tread depth and more details later. Wheels have some curb rash but nothing too bad, will get more detailed pics of them and car soon. Best picture I have is below, does have tinted windows now since this pic was taken. Having it detailed shortly and will try to list up newer pics and more information of this car over the next week or so when I have more time. If anyone is interested in purchasing this vehicle let me know, will be happy to answer any questions regarding it.
SOLD
Additional info added 11/9:
For full disclosure just some quick additional info we thought of last night along with the carfax refreshing our memories. Will provide carfax report to any interested buyers.
-My wife is the 3rd owner (carfax lists us as 5th since it counted dealers too). Owned since ~11k miles and 1/2/2009
-The car was in a minor accident where it was lightly hit from behind, airbags did not deploy and it was driven away from scene, insurance repaired.
-Faulty supercharger bearing while it was under warranty, dealership opted to replace whole supercharger as they didn't do just bearing. They replaced the valve cover gaskets while at it 4/2013.
-New battery and alternator late last year or earlier this year (will try to find out exactly when). Old alternator wasn't charging effectively so we replaced both at the same time, no issues since.
Info & pictures added 11/13
-Car fully detailed
-Cabin air filter replaced this week
-Front tires in good condition (replaced last year), Rear tires need replacing in next 5k but if you are a serious buyer don't let that impact your decision as I'll work with you on the rear tires.
-Window tint is darkest legal allowed in FL, has strip on top of windshield.
***Planning on doing a headlight restoration and a fresh air filter cleaning this week.***

Wow, very rare, is it machine grey or graphite grey hard to tell from the pic? GLWS and congrats to you and your wife........is this your first?
Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
Thanks! 100% Machine gray, the angle/lighting isn't the best in this pic, will try to get better ones after its detailed. Yes, our first arriving in a week (or less), very exciting times!! Wish we could keep this car but just isn't practical/safe for the infant seat in the front. Just purchased a 4 door last week so this one is up for sale now.
Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
I shared this on the "Owners Group" facebook page .. If she's as clean as she sounds I don't think you'll have a problem selling her. Congrats on the soon to be new arrival !
Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
Some interest, however the delay is on my side getting some better pictures and more info on the car. I've pulled a Carfax this morning and can provide it to any interested parties. It's being detailed tomorrow or Friday so I should have a lot more pictures after that sometime this weekend. Adding the below details to original post up top.

-New battery and alternator either late last year or earlier this year (will try to find out exact date). Old alternator wasn't charging effectively so we replaced both at the same time, no issues since.

Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
Lots of pictures and more information added to the first post. The more I work on this car the more I want to keep it, I just may if I don't sell it to a crossfireforum.org or FB Crossfire Owner's Group forum member. It's a very rare solid car with just some small flaws here and there that's to be expected for the mileage. 2006 was a very limited year being a dealer order only year for 2006 SRT6's, good luck trying to find another...much less in this extremely rare machine grey color that was only an option in 06!

Yeah . . . thanks . . . I figured it out after re-reading the thread . . . I have a friend looking for a nice SRT6 coupe and I advised him to JUMP ON this one. We'll see what he does! If I could figure out SOME WAY to justify to the wifey that we need FOUR Crossfires . . . I would be heading up to get this one!

Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
Looks fantastic in that color. Interesting that it does not have the "updated" 2006 badging on the seats and the tach but does on the outside. Those updates may have just been for the non US cars.
As an FYI...I sold my SRT6 pre baby as well, after the first year with a little one, we figured out how to get by with just having a car seat in one car. Now I have another SRT6 in the garage. Just saying, you may want to hang on to it for a couple more months to see if you really need to sell it.

^^^ Sale pending, thanks!
Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
As hard as I tried to convince Mrs to let me buy this car, I had to acquiesce... Once she let me budget the $, she would not let me get another garage for it. So, she won again and I drooled for at least 9 days!
Of course she was 100% correct, I just could not leave it out in the weather AND I have to make sure my 08 wasn't orphaned out in the weather either!

Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
If the sale falls through, let me know. Sent you an email. Looking to pick it up to replace my daily driver, SRT-4. Stick shift just doesn't cut it in bay area traffic :/
Re: 2006 SRT-6 Machine Gray Coupe #64173 61k miles
My friend Steve took delivery of this beautiful 2006 SRT6 coupe in Machine Gray (see photos in post #1 of this thread). He and his wife are THRILLED with the car! He's already working on a list of little TLC projects! I think they are planning to join us for the 2017 Fall Tail of the Dragon GTG. Another happy perma-grin Crossfire owner! Coaxing Steve toward buying this SRT6 was almost as rewarding as buying it myself! . . . NOT!
