2005 Crossfire SRT6 Convertible well maintained with 42K miles. The car looks and drives great. It has an automatic transmission. I will be posting a photo of the window sticker which will give the specifics of options and colors. Interior is very clean and the tires are about half worn.
The car is located in North east Florida. It has been serviced by the Chrysler dealer where it was purchased since new. Inspections are welcome.
This was my first exposure to these cars. I'm quite impressed. I changed the water pump on this car for my friend. The level of engineering and attention to detail is amazing. Most of all I was most impressed with the ride. Its a true drivers car.
Lot of inquiries but still available, reasonable offers will be entertained.

I think it's fair to say that you can describe what you saw. He's selling it for someone else and can't describe the car like an owner could. Plus you know what the things a prospective buyer would look for are. So, yeah, let rip.
Thanks Chuk..Well, the first thing I saw was the crease type dent in the drivers door, the faded clearcoat at the spoiler wing, improper bumper fit at the passenger front fender, fog light cover shield pass. side, tweeked out of place. (probably over a parking curb where it hooked then reverse pulled the bumper out of align is my guess), the convertible top, when actuated, the pump popped open the cover then it sat with the pump going and no movement, then after several seconds began to move again and retract into position all the while holding the button. So, it did complete a full opening cycle albeit very different from my roadster which is positive and fast. It completed a closing cycle properly as well. Tires on it are well worn, it'll need a set. rotors were scored deeply, it'll need a set of those too. It drove nice, tracked the road well, tranny shifted smoothe, I did not check its spirit, but I am sure it had some. And NO BUDGE on the PRICE???...bump!
Neil, I'm sorry you you weren't pleased with the car. At the end of the day it's a 10 year old car with 42K miles. While I don't disagree there are small flaws, your post is overstated to say the least.
The price was negotiated lower and agreed upon before you ever came to see the car. Your tactic of offering even lower and then bad mouthing the car on the forum to drive away other buyers isn't appreciated.
After discussing your post with the owner he has decided to resend his offer to sell you the car at any price. Good day sir.

It is a 10 year old car. No one will argue that. But that, in and of itself, isn't a valid excuse for a disappointing assessment.
This is not an easy crowd in which to sell a car, any car. But we know our Crossies and we know how well to which they can be cared for in that time. This car is desirable and reasonably rare,,, but it is no virgin garage queen. It's best feature would be an unmolested engine.
Blue book values are often erroneous to the current market. BB is based on dealer prices and most dealers hate these cars.
Given the Forum member assessment and the BB comparison I would still say the car should, or could, sell (privately) at the now Offered price. ($16K) But not likely to anyone here looking for either a bargain, or a virgin. Very good condition includes decent rubber at the very least. Scratches and dents lower the population who might invest in a "keeper" if they must fork over a grand for tires and three more for body and paint repairs. These cars are not commodity grocery getters, they are objects of art and pride.
All sales are between a buyer willing to pay the price, and a seller willing to offer that price. No need for anger if some cannot find common ground.

Wow!! Sounds like any person on this forum that has, or has had, a crossfire would probably see all of the same things, and maybe more. I initially offered $11K cash pending an inspection/test drive. Of course I was told that I wasn't even close, but I was being way overly generous based on the above observations and definitely take back my offer to the "OBO" in your post. Good luck with the sale.
