2005 SRT-6 Roadster, sadly for sale... $10,500
Hey folks, my SRT-6 needs a better home. I've got a newborn and she's been replaced by a more suitable family truckster. *chuckle* It makes me smile and cry at the same time to have to sell it...

VIN: 1C3AN75N95X047176
81,000 miles
I'm absolutely in love with this car. I have a newborn, however, and he takes priority! That said, it's not a newborn friendly car and has been replaced. Bitter-sweet for me, awesome for you!
It's a Mercedes AMG under the Chrysler skin, and it's amazingly fun to drive. Details to follow.
Crossfire History:
The vehicle was only made for a handful of years, and most estimates have total production at 75,000 - 80,000 vehicles. Of those, 2016 of them were SRT-6 models. Of those, 928 were roadsters (convertible). This vehicle is one of 928 ever made...and who knows how many are still out there on the road.
The SRT-6 model has some benefits over the normal Crossfire:
3.2L V6 - SUPERCHARGED engine
18-valve, Single overhead cam, Aluminum V6
330 HP, 310 ft-lb torque (Mercedes AMG Engine)
5-Speed Automatic w/manual shift capability (same as the SLK32 AMG)
40% firmer shocks and springs for much better handling
Larger vented brakes
Electronic stability control (that can be disabled with a button)
Fixed rear wing in the back
More aggressive chin spoiler in the front
P225/40ZR-18 front, P255/35ZR-19 rear tires
0-60 in 5.2 seconds
158 mph top speed (software capped)
Aftermarket:
Chrome Wheels (18" front, 19" rear)
Other standard features:
Rear Wheel Drive
Black Exterior
Black Interior
Leather + Suede Seats
CD Player
Anti-Lock Brakes
Driver + Passenger, Front + Side Airbags
Dual-zone climate control
Premium 240 watt Sound w/ 6 Infinity speakers and subwoofer behind the seats
Cruise Control
Power Locks
Power Windows
Power Seats
Power Convertible Top
New, this was a $50k car. It's yours today for just $10,500!
Known issues:
Normal wear and tear for this vehicle.
Cracked windshield, low to the frame and almost invisible...I don't even see it any more (see pic)
Small dent in right front quarter near headlight (pic)
Silver coating on passenger inside door grip flaking a bit (not visible).

Re: 2005 SRT-6 Roadster, sadly for sale... $10,500
Thanks for the validation, folks. Went back and forth on where I thought the pricing should be, trying to find comps, etc...got ridiculously low-balled at dealers for trade-in, etc. <chuckle> Still not positively sure how much it should go for, but this felt relatively fair and no-brainer.
Cheers,

Car is in the hands of its new owners! Thanks to Al(Addict) and his wife and their beautiful baby! Don't worry, she'll be safe until you want to drive it in Florida!
Re: 2005 SRT-6 Roadster, sadly for sale... $10,500
Hey Chuk & Kim, Did you get your new baby home yet? Hope you enjoyed a great trouble-free cross country run. Let us know how it went??
Re: 2005 SRT-6 Roadster, sadly for sale... $10,500
Many of us have followed the entire trip from San Diego to Florida with photos this week daily on Facebook
The real version of "Crossfire Across America" !!!!
I suspect based on a post on FB they will stay around Jacksonville tonight and arrive home tomorrow
Just posted by Chuk on FB:
This trip technically started at the Dragon when Kim said we HAD to get another SRT-6.
We found the one we wanted in San Diego and decided to fly and get it instead of shipping it.
We traveled 10 states, have gone through 4 time zones, experienced elevations from over 7,000 ft to 8 ft below sea level, dealt with temps from 87 degrees to 17 degrees, went from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean, met some members along the way, ate some great food and never saw another Crossfire on the road that we didn't seek out!
We hope everyone had fun following us and Black Betty doing the truest version of a Crossfire Across America we could imagine.

Re: 2005 SRT-6 Roadster, sadly for sale... $10,500
I will post it here later tonight when I get Kim's pics. It was a blast! We got to see so much of the lower half of the country and meet a few members along the way. I've been very sick since leaving Texas and haven't had the energy to do much, but I will. Which subforum should we post it under???
