Guess what SRT6 is For Sale AGAIN!
Guess what SRT6 is For Sale AGAIN!
I recognized the VIN#, you guessed it, the SRT6 that will not go away, The BLACK MAXX edition! There is no mention of the wonderful history or the special name tied to this scavenger model with the various non-SRT6 parts. The prior dealership was located in Tennessee and sold at auction to this dealer several months ago, guess they could not sell it, what a surprise!

Re: Guess what SRT6 is For Sale AGAIN!
You really did not have to go to any other sites, just use the search button for "Black Maxx" and you would have fund a few previous threads on this car.
Th original owner did visit the forum a few times. This was originally a Graphite SRT6, but was repo'ed by the bank, but before it was, that original owner offered several parts as a swap to non-SRT6 owners, such as the front bumper, seat swap to a base owner, entire brake swap with a Limited, spoiler swap with a limited spoiler and a few other parts.
This was the reason everyone was skeptical when it appeared on a sales lot for sale and was striped as the "Black Maxx Edition".
It became a running joke on the forum an I bet that original owner had several laughs if he was aware of the travels of this car.
Don't forget, use the search button, since this forum is 10+ years old and many questions have been answered previously.

It was reading about the Black Maxx that got me curious to see a photo. I found lots of words but not photos.
Anyway, it reminds me of when Hertz had those Shelby GT350s. After a while it was discovered (or at least this was the rumor back then) they were being rented and stripped of the performance parts and then returned. At one point a part of the airport was filled with them. Hertz was auctioning the whole group off to be rid of the problem.
