Would love for you to have it. Just don't total it! Might even deliver it since I have family where you live! I really enjoy building most but all I have been doing is winning my class at every car show I go to. I really want to move on to my next project. I have done just about everything that makes sense to this car and am getting itch to build again. This car is part of a very exclusive club. People go nuts when they see it at the shows. People seem to appreciate that when they start looking close, just how modified this car really is even though I built it to appear very OEM. It looks like the way it should have come from the factory. forgot to mention that it also has a suede headliner.

How many miles on the chassis?

Regardless of the outcome, call me when you're in the area and we'll have you over for some steaks and beers.

You've taken a hooker off the street and can't afford V-8 gas any more and are going to build a VW Beetle?

It is pretty fast! At the dragon I could out brake the SRT's into a corner watched them get small off the corners. Love the awesome torque! the car has more torque than an SRT but what you really notice is the very broad and flat torgue curve. On 100mph punch on the freeway a SRT with all the mods pulled slightly ahead slowly. Since the dragon last year I installed AMG 55 cams and the AMG intake. this really seemed to improve the top end and gave it an evil growl. This was a great mod! I let Rudy take it for a drive at the dragon and he had a big grin and told me "the 5.0 500 engine was just right for a Crossfire". You need to drive it to understand how different this car feels and drives compared to the SRT. Ask Pizza guy what he thought of his ride in it. I have driven a very highly modified SRT at the dragon. I can't remember his name but he is the guy who has every single item Needswings sells for a Crossfire. That car was very very quick but you could feel it come into its power band before it really took off. In my car. you feel a ton of torque the instant you touch the thottle.

The engine has 30K. the chassis has 100K but I have maintaned and kept this car in new condition. Even the leather shows almost no wear at all. I don't even let dirt sit on this car. It is cleaned every week and usually at a show every weekend. I will be at cars and coffee in Dallas this Saturday and then another show in the afternoon. This car gets all the attention it needs. The only problem recently was the head liner started to loosen. When I replaced it, I added dynamat to the roof and did the headliner in suede. Transmission got a full service along with a new speed sensor plate and blue top solooids last year. The car has been trouble free and I drive it every day.

I recall it being quite fast at the dragon, and Rudy even mentioned that it had the *perfect* amount of power for the twisties. Definitely a head-turner.

And don't forget that there are less than 10 Crossfires in the world that require 16 spark plugs! I have been patiently looking for my next project car and found it. I hope I don't lose the opportunity...

No I am not out picking up hookers and the next project is another V8 swap.
