Oh la la, an old Lotus? What about the new ones. Evora S is quite nice, 4-seater aswell. Good performance. Good luck with sale.

Late Model just shared this crazy video with me when I told him I was looking at a Lotus. Now this makes my potential project look meek. this is pure insanity!

Heck, EVERYONE is interested, it's just that old money thing.

( I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a V8 Crossfire today, as Wimpy would say .... )

Besides, at the last car show, I had a guy look at my roadster and exclaim "You put a V12 in that little car !!!!!" - he was counting the plug wires

So I'm good for now with my V12

I know there are guys on here who are not Wimpy, but I just threw it up on Craigslist and will have a for sale sign at Cars and Coffee tomorrow.

Reduced to $14,000 Anyone more than interested now? This price is good as long as the car I am trying to buy is still for sale. You can steal my car as long as I can steal the one I am after.

Now I know how to mess with the uninformed, I'll just tell them its a V-12! George, you just made my day! Good luck selling a V8 with all these V-12's on the market Bob, your going to have a tough time for sure.

That car is awesome! A V-8 in such a small cramped compartment and the fact that just about no Chrysler dealership or Mercedes dealership will touch it probably would shun away a huge bunch of people. I just cannot wrap my head around trying to do any kind of maintenance without pulling the engine/transmission out! I would have a problem even trying to find a leak let alone doing much of any visual inspection without a lift. Bob, I hope you get to l;eave her with someone who would truly appreciate the marvel you created.

The car is no harder to work on Than V6. the engine is exacly the same engine as the V6 except two more cylinders at the front and those are the easiest spark plugs to get to. No disrespect but anyone who would take a Crossfire to a Mercedes or Chrysler dealership that is not under warranty isn't very bright. Any independent MB shop could work on this. It is actually easier since they can use their MB Star DAS system on it which they are more likely to have than the special Crossfire card for the Chrysler system.

I tried Bob. Son just isn't ready right now. I wish I could swing it...that is a steal for what that car is....good luck...

Gentlemen. Anyone sitting on the fence for a V-8 conversion, or even a turbo project...should just buy this car and sell theirs....1 of a kind and will run with any project turbo...and you could never hire out a conversion for this money. I don't even know if you had the talent for a DIY it would be cheaper...just sayin...

Your damn rights this is a good deal. If I wasn't already in the thick of things, with so many parts purchased and coming for my turbo project I'd be begging the wife for this in a heartbeat. Nothing..but nothing sounds as good as a V8.

Your tubo parts will work on this car too Just need to resize the turbo. I was looking at a 67mm with a .8 A/R I believe. Should be good for about 500 hp.

I'm almost tempted to buy it for $14,000 and have it available for $16,000.

The car is probably sold. A check is in the mail. But if all goes as planned, Arizona will have a very unique Crossfire cruising the roads.

Since DJ's 3rd Crossfire was donated to Corky, this one would be his 3rd one (again)

Congrats on the sale, Bob. Hoping it comes through for ya!
