Feeler, considering selling my 2005 SRT-6 roadster SSB with only 4,950 mls
For the past years I spend most of my time overseas meaning my X-fire doesn't get the exercise is deserves. Beautiful SRT6 with only 4,950 miles since new (2005) which probably one of the lowest in the country . 100% stock and very fast. Always garage stalled. Pricing was thinking of $22,500 fixed. Located in central PA. If interested drop me a line but, I won't be back in the country till next month! below some pictures !

I hope you get that kind of money for it. Low mileage examples have been selling for $20-$21K. I think they should be worth more than that. Time will tell.

Of course, I agree. 22.5k is fair. I'd buy it from you, but I only have a 3 car garage and that would bump my mint '06 4-runner to the driveway (this is tempting, though...).

I am glad that there are still low mileage Crossfires out there for purchase. One day I may need one! But I really don't understand the logic behind it. Life is too short, drive it!

Why not join us at Carlisle this year, which begins on Friday, July 6th through Sunday July 8th. You can always put a slae sign in the window for anyone interested in buying one, since its the Chrysler show. By the way, Saturday's are the best day of the weekend, with the largest number of participants. Look for the information under the "Car Show" section on the forum.

As someone who *just* bought one myself (although with more like 44K miles on mine), I have a few thoughts on this.....
You're right that these cars really "should" be fetching more money, considering how rare they are, their initial MSRP price when new, and the low mileage on some.
The problem is, from the perspective of someone like me who really likes the cars, but wants/needs to use it as a regular daily driver type vehicle (can't afford to buy cars just to keep them garaged all the time as show-pieces) -- it doesn't make sense paying upwards of $20K for a 7 or 8 year old car with no warranty left on it.
Since these are only 2-seaters, that doesn't help either. (Many people who'd otherwise want one will pass on them, simply because they have a wife and kid or kids to take places, and it's just not practical enough for them.)
When you get into the low $20K price range, a lot of NEW vehicle options open up that make more sense for the majority of folks (Hyundai Veloster, for example).

Oh the horror, kingtj, comparing a Crossfire SRT-6 to a Hyundai Veloster... Blasphemy. Totally different cars/purposes. If just talking $, though, I suppose you could do that. It's the purpose, rarity, and daily driving joy the Xfire will give you that make folks want one... or not.

Well, mine are my toys.... I have regular ole boring daily drivers, but the toys, bring a smile to old man's face everytime we take one for a spin....litterally a spin....lol.... The roadster has been re-commissioned as the "Sunday" driver....while the coupe is still being slowly but surely modded for "Friday" night fun......1/4 mile at a time....lol
Re: Feeler only; 2005 SRT-6 roadster SSB with only 4,950 miles !
Haha.... I know what you're saying. But I'm just trying to look at things from the perspective of someone in need of a smaller vehicle to use to go to/from work and so forth, who has a top budget of maybe $21-22K or so, and who wants something "sporty". That's a pretty big segment of the market out there, IMO.
A lot of these types are going to look at a car like the Crossfire and think, "Wow! Great looking ride and the price is right!" but then realize it's not a practical or logical option for them.
These cars really only make sense as second or third cars (or more) for people to use for pleasure. And often, people in that situation have the income to afford something newer with a warranty still on it, that's frankly in a class above a mid 2000 era Chrysler.
If I didn't have such an interest in harder-to-find cars in the first place, I wouldn't have bought one myself either. I'm lucky that my wife owns a new Kia SUV which the whole family can fit in comfortably. That's the only thing that allowed me to part with my Jeep Patriot and move to the Crossfire. Otherwise, I couldn't justify spending the money for a fun car for me, but at the expense of something capable of taking more than one of the kids to school at a time, etc. etc.

If you're having trouble sleeping, just go over to the Hyundai Veloster forum for 5 minutes.
Problem solved.
Re: Feeler, considering selling my 2005 SRT-6 roadster SSB with only 4950 mls
X-fire lovers,
My well taken care off SRT-6 was recently picked up by one of our fellow Forum members. I hope he enjoys the long ride home and for sure I know he has a fantastic car that he will enjoy tremendously.
It was just a shame that the car was standing in my garage without getting any exercise. Now someone else is the happy new owner, who will give her the needed attention !
I thank this forum for the pleasant posts; I always enjoyed reading same.
Who knows, one day i might get another SRT-6, after all they are truly fantastic cars.

By the way, everyone knows that cash in hand is more alluring than cash on hand.
