2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
Your car and interior look very nice. I wish I had some extra money laying around. I would have myself a roadster also
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
I know this car .... they actually live down the street from me. Very nice looking car - even better in person. I was shocked the first time I saw this car - I had never seen the black & white guts on a red roadster before or since. Super sharp looking car!!!
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
Thanks for the comments. I've seen your car in the neighborhood also. If anyone is interested the car is listed on Ebay. The reserve has been met and the current bid is $12,000.00
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
I'm very interested in your car. I live in Sarasota, and it would be easy for me to pick up the car if I win the auction. Can you give me a rundown on any repairs that have been done to the car? How many miles are on the tires, and how much tread is left? Thanks.
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
The telescoping steering wheel was replaced right after I bought it because it would not lock. Radiator fan replaced under recall. Have had a couple of TP sensors replaced. Head light lenses were fogging up and were replaced. Driver side power window switch replaced. I had the hood repainted after bird poop ate into the clear coat. Tires were replaced on 5/11/09 and show very little wear. New battery in August.
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
$100.00 deductable, $40.00 transfer fee. Sorry, I had forgotten about the rear window. My wife said we had our in house mechanic fix it about two years ago. (we own a const. co) He dosen't work for us anymore so I have left a message for him to call me to find out what he did. I know it hasn't been a problem for a long time. When I get home I'll take a look a close look at it and post what I see.
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
I looked at the rear window and it's hard to tell that it was repaired. I pushed on the glass and it is well attached to the canvas. The yard service was at the house today and got grass and dust all over the car so I hosed it off and the window doesn't leak. I asked my wife about the repair and she thinks that both bottom corners were fixed. I really don't remember much about this. The only way I could tell you what has been fixed over the last five years was to go through the reciepts my wife kept in the glove box. I have not herard from the mechanic that did the repair so I can't tell you what he did. BTW I purchased oil change service with the car and still have several coupons left. They are not transferable but I will get the car to Chrysler tomorrow and have it serviced. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
I saw this car in person tonight & it really is a stunning color combo in person. As I told the super nice couple who own the car, I am actually really sad that they are selling - they are great folks who would fit in with our crowd perfectly!!! A few details about this car: it has the clearest headlights I have ever seen on ANY XF - they look like they were installed yesterday. The top doesn't show the fading in the creases that a lot of these tops get - pretty uniform in color. I didn't see a rock or door ding anywhere on the car. Ihorse has every record of every oil change done to this car + the extended warranty out to 100K or 7 years from date of inception - that warranty is transferrable for $40. It can also be used at any Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealership in the country. I know we have a lot of folks on this forum who are talking about jumping into their first XF .... this is a sharp looking car. I don't know if they mentioned that this car has Nav ... WITH the disks!!!

19 hours to go and this thing is under bidded for it's condition. A beautiful collector model.
I wish I could buy them all but
Crumpy says no.
Somebody, pick this pretty girl up.
don't let her dance with strangers.

Kim, it was a pleasure to meet you and Chuck. You guys would fit right in with the boat people! Thanks for your comments on the car. I really hope someone from the forum buys the car and enjoys it as much as we have. Good luck to every one bidding tomorrow
Re: 2005 Blaze Red Roadster Limited
It's the exact same as mine, except for the interior color - I even have all the manuals, disks, and sticker, too. Cept mine has 31600 on it. It BETTER sell for at least $14,000 - that's what CarMax offered me for mine.
PRoblem is, XF's aren't selling right now. Good for buyers, bad for sellers - and right now, I am a potential buyer AND potential seller (working on selling mine for a "Roadster with a STick").
