put in on auto-trader.com and craigs list. Ebay is just lowballs looking for a steal It will sell for around 10 grand for someone who is really looking. If I didn,t have a company vehicle i would buy it for a daily commuter Good luck.

I have it on CL but I'm not sure about autotrader. I guess it can't hurt right?
BTW, you guys are getting a deal here...I have it on CL for 7500

today's price adjustment... car has 110k and is now priced at $6900
I found something I want...and this car needs to go. That price is firm. Delivery to say AZ is $899 so I'm sure Cali is about the same.

SOLD
The car has already left (about 11:30 am today) and if the person who bought it isn't already a member I believe he will be now. Thank you all for your help and I wish you all the best with your XF's! It was a great ride but I need to move on with our future in mind.
I'll still be around to look and lurk (and deep down in side most likely regret selling the car)
Once again THANK YOU EVERYONE of this great forum!

So did eBay sell it or did they come from this board or did they see the sign in the window???
eBay does not seem to be the place to sell a car for what it's worth, IMO.
Anyway, glad to see you sold it - there are TOO MANY XF's for sale right now! Local dealer here in town has two Coupes, and I saw one for sale in in Fayetteville today. And one of the "buy here, pay here" lots here in town has a Coupe (terribly overpriced - $15,000 with 55,000 miles) they've had that car since mid or early summer, at least.
The economy has ruined the market for toys like these, at least for now.
But again, I'm glad you got it sold.

the guy mentioned here but our deal was discussed though eBay but in the end the deal was done outside of eBay so I could give the buyer a better price for the car.
The economy really does suck for sellers of "toy cars" right now. My dad bought a 76 Vette last week CHEAP because of the economy.

I'm the buyer of this car and drove it back to Chicago on Saturday. The car drives like new and was in excellent condition. Seeing as how this car is perfect, the only things I'm planning on doing to it are an oil change and I want to modify the radio to get an aux input.
With the higher miles on this car, I consider that a non-issue since I drive about 7k miles a year total and it's a Mercedes drive-train. Subeman was great to deal with and it was nice to have a smooth transaction with a great seller.

Congrats and welcome to the board and the "family".
Please hang around... many of us wonder what it's gonna be like when OUR cars get to 110,000 miles.
So, the clutch feels good after 110,000 miles?

Re: FS in PA: 2004 SSB 6 speed (near Carlisle)
in my opinion I think the clutch was replaced at one time as I can't imagine that a 110k clutch feels that good. Like I said that is my opinion though.
