then, I guess, you will just be a "roadster with a stick"....I know there are others getting their funds in order on this one...but I won't say who....lol....but, if everything chuck is telling us is true, this is the best deal on here yet....for what it is...we have seen some good ones sell here lately...so prices may fall further, but, I do believe they will level off when warm weather gets here...now, next year, will be the year for deals, but the mileage will be higher, which means maintenance will be higher...decisions, always decisions...lol

 

I was lamenting last week when an Ebay auction let an 05 aeroblue coupe/stick, go for $8,500. Perfect for my turbo project.
Crumpy was not amused or sympathetic.

This is a great deal that will not last nor be repeated soon. Miles are right, price is extremely right, a Texas car relatively unmolested. One to put away for later.

Given what we went thru with Crumpy's last fall, I have concerns about factory support and parts. But with the club and all the support from friends and vendors, this car could run for ever.

Just starts to get expensive, even in storage.

And then there is the guilt factor of buying a toy when so many people are suffering. My conscience will likely not have to deal with it. Crumpy still says NO.

I've got two nickles to rub together but notin' is happening.

There are two other similar coupes in the area for sale. Priced simalarly as well. This one is by far the best. And at the best price.

We have got to keep this gem in the family.

Stopped by the 7/11 and bought a ticket but no luck so far.

Thanks again Franc, the car has the Spint booster already, I got it a couple months after I got the car, I don't think I could be without one, if I had another Crossfire,

 

Well I must say I'm very suprised at all the responses and e-mails I have gotten on this car and I still have it, lol I do have 1 gentelman who seems very intrested, he has done alot of research on the car and pulled a car fax on it, which looked good, now wants to spend the money to get a Carchex inspector to look at the car or even send it to the dealership for a 180 point inspection, can't say that I have ever done that before especially for a car under $20,000 dollars, lol but it's all good it's helping me to learn a few new things, I do want to thank everyone for all the help....

 

When I saw that you had replied to the thread I thought for sure it was going to be a "Car is SOLD" response.

Not trying to get off of the subject, but here is one of my other rides I'm considering selling, this is my baby I have had for 10+ years 1990 GMC S-15 True 10.5 fully certified street legal runs 11.00 on motor and 8.50 on the spray no junk here all professionally built by Bevis Built Race Cars, Thad Bevis and myself did all the work except for the wiring, $30,000 firm Crossfire seems cheap now lol, enjoy the day...

 

 

On the one hand I am glad to hear you have a potential buyer. On the other I am sad 'cause I have a selfish interest in the car myself.
But in truth the money has another purpose from which I cannot, in good conscience, divert it.
I really like aeroblue. It is the fastest colour.
