You kind words and support mean a lot to me I assure you.
I also want to thank the Board for the "Sidez award"
That is special to me and came as a great surprise.
I'm staying at Crossfirefranks tonight...it's his Birthday.
I'm heading for home ...the last 4 hours tomorrow morning.
The rest of our 8 Crossfire convoy is either home now and some still on the road.
I hope everyone still traveling gets home safely.
I'll be posting up a link with a lot of pics later
Thanks again everyone !!

On a side note "MrDoubleOhWiskers" tried to race me on the way to the diner Sunday morn... I started from the light and he cruised into the intersection on the outside lane at about 40 mph coming up from behind in his blue Liberty... Paul was right "That guy is [...] CRA-ZEE!" He was toast though.
Re: Carlisle 2009...
Well, I finally made it home at 10:00 last night. It was a nice trip back with the Midwest group, and outside of the speeding ticket I got it was a pleasant trip back.
I would like to comment and "thank you"'. It was my pleasure to meet all the new members, and seeing those familiar faces I've come to know.
Thank you Ray, Tony, Chas, Pat, Grace, and Andrew for being there for CICCI. We would not be where we are if it were not for your commitment and contributions. It's been my honor to work with you. Thank you for planning the great event and doing whatever it took to do to make it a success. Thank you to all the members who have joined for putting your trust in us, and for believing in us. Without your trust and support we would not be the club that we are. You have raised the bar for the growth and success of CICCI. Thank you to all the new elected officers for stepping up and getting involved. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to working with you. Thank you to all our vendor members for your sponsorship. Thank you all.
Congrats to all who won an award for your cars, and Congrats on to all that received the BOD awards. They are well deserved.

Re: Carlisle 2009...
WOW ! ! !
That's all I can say. What a great time! For those of you who didn't make the trip you really missed a great time but most of all fantastic people! I feel like we are old friends and have known each other for years.
How much fun can you pack into a weekend? Way more than can be written in a single post . Soooo many people to thank for all of the help and fun.
First, for those who don't know Rudy (rcompart) stopped by my house Wednesday night on his way to Gary's to help me install my new TVT Stage 2 intake, Stage 2 injectors, 74 MM throttle body and Needswings CAI. We got it done in less than six hours! We didn't make it to Gary's house but now have a great drinking story I owe you big time my friend! Also a huge thanks to Rob (Needswings) and Anthony (TVT) my car pulls so hard it's like a completely different car!
Mike (+fireamx) and his wife Barb you guys ROCK!!! They put all eight of us up for the night on Thursday. It reminded me of my college days or a giant sleepover (only a lot cleaner!). The best part was Frank (crossfire Frank) made a new sleeping buddy! The hospitality and cookies were priceless! Thank you.
I wish we had taken a picture of FP's face when AJ from Adams took the sand paper to FP's fender on Saturday at the Adams product demo. Absolutely PRICELESS!!! Anyone ever see a grown man cry? FP didn't but it was darn close
For anyone who hasn't met "Corky" (Debra Walker) yet you are missing out. She had us laughing Saturday night until my face hurt! You girl could be real trouble (but in a good way)
And to all of my new Canadian friends, you guys are so much fun. I can't wait for the GTG north of the boarder.
To the CICCI board; you guys organized one of the best events of any kind that I have ever attended! Outstanding effort and execution!
All the new friends! Just a great time. Let's do it again!
FP, Gary, Frank, Ann, Gary (Rapps), Mike, Rob and Rudy the caravan back was great (well except for our forced delay ). I can't wait to do it again.
Well I should probably get some work done and this post is long enough. Many thanks to all for the good time and memories. I am definitely going to try and make Woodward and count me in for Carlisle next year!
Stay safe...
Respectfully,
Paul (MisterTaz)
PS ~ a big thanks to all who voted for my car. I was totally surprised to win a prize. And I totally agree Grace (Sterling) and James (JediRacer) your cars are stunning. Congratulations! MisterTaz out...

Re: Carlisle 2009...
Here is the Car Awards from the weekend. (taken from Chas's post on CICCI)
The club's inaugural Show Awards were presented at our Annual meeting Dinner at Snappers Bar and Grille.
CICCI Car Show - People's Choice Award
1st Place - James Radford aka Jediracer
2nd Place - Grace Tunkel aka Sterling aka Grace Tunkel
3rd Place - Paul Regets aka MisterTaz
Congrats one and all.
On another note: Carlisle, All-Chrysler Nationals, duly recognized our Club and the Crossfire this year. We were the talk of the show due to "our" participation numbers. Carlisle also decided (correctly) to have two distinct Crossfire categories "Roadsters" and "Coupes" based on the number of Crossfires entered in the show. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Show Awards were designated for both categories.
The Winners were announced Sunday morning and .....
Coupes
1st Place - Chas Knight aka Ichon aka Chas Knight
2nd Place - Anthony Crispino, Sr. aka Acripsy1
3rd Place - Mike Moneypenny aka +fireamx
Roadsters
1st Place - Frank Hasbrouck aka CrossfireFrank
2nd Place - Andrew Tunkel aka TBird
3rd Place - James Radford aka jediracer
Congrats to all
