There's cars there that are worth allot more money than a Crossfire and they are not worried about it, if we all felt like you there would be no car shows.

Re: Carlisle 2008
Hello everyone...thinking about going to the show on Saturday. I always try to make it up every year. Usually, I just park outside the show, but might bring the XFire and park with everyone else this time. This would be my first year there with the XFire. I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but does anyone know if there's a location to wash cars in Carlisle? As many times as I've been there (usually with my other Chrysler's) I've never been able to locate a decent self-serve car wash. Thanks for any help!

Patpur had a good suggestion, to post a specified time to be under the tent so we all have the opportunity to meet each other, and discuss the forum and the club, and take a few pictures together.
So lets get together @ 1:00pm on Saturday under the tent...

Re: Carlisle 2008
Just spent a total of 10 hrs between yesterday and today detailing the Crossfire. Started yesterday with, removing the wheels and cleaning the under side of the car, then clayed it.
Today I first hit it with Adams detailer to remove the dust, then sprayed all my black hoses and trim with Adams in and out spray, (great stuff), Followed that with Never Dull on all my chrome, and then all Adams stuff, swirl and haze remover, polish, and machine wax.
Tomorrow I will hit the inside, I guess I need to get up pretty early, I'm shot but cant wait to see you all.

Just got in from Vegas (no showgirls in tow ), bag is _still_ packed.
Vegas snuck up on me, and I didn't get the car detailed before I left. Now it's a bit too late. Oh well. Maybe I can bribe the other attendees with free beers until it's detailed on Friday night. Group effort?
See ya in the morning Rick!

I'm going to stop by the fairgrounds tomorrow morning before taking the family to Hersheypark to register for Saturday. I rolled through the miracle mile section around middlesex tonight on my way back from ice hockey and saw a bunch of mopars in the hotel parking lots. Going to have to get up super early on saturday to wash and detail my car before heading to the fairgrounds since I drove it tonight after dusk it is covered with BUGS.

Well Valk I'm on my pC here but I'm sitting in the comfort of my home. Did not attend the show today as I was in Hersheypark with my family for our annual amusement park trip but we drove through town on the way back home. I'll be at the show tomorrow and will post some pics in my gallery sometime after that.
Re: Carlisle 2008
I'm in Carlisle!!
We just got back from dinner. Dinner went great, and we went out into the parking lot and had a mini-meet. Of course, we stood around talking for a couple hours. Then we decided to go back into TGIF and get another round of drinks. Now we're back in the hotel getting ready for an early morning to make it to the fairgrounds before the rush.
It has been GREAT meeting everyone. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I've yet to meet a CrossfireForum member that hasn't been great company. It's looking like a fabulous day tomorrow.
Wish you were here Gary, but I'll see ya in August at WDC.
