I will not be able to attend this year. I am turning everything over to acrispy1 (Tony) and he & I are in communication.

These are difficult times when a loved one becomes terminally ill.
My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
I also want to thank you for all you have done to get this Carlisle event together. Senna had expressed concern to me that Carlisle needed a leader and although I am not attending I am happy that you took the leadership in organizing this event.

Frank, I read your other thread. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's health. Let's hope she doesn't suffer much before she goes. My prayers are with her, you and the family.
Too bad I won't get to meet you at Carlisle. I was looking forward to finally meeting you. But, there's alway next year.

Tony, I've been away on vacaton this week, but I have a new banner for the club. I talked with Frank about it and it's all taken care of. We fly back on Thursday and head to Carisle on Friday. I would say we'll be rolling in around 4pm also. Staying at the County Inn, see you there.

The following link (Country Inn) will bring you to where many of us are staying. As of yesterday (Monday, 4/14/2008) , there were only thirty four (34) rooms left open for July 12, 2008. I suggest you make your reservations as soon as possible as many other motels in the area are already booked for the show weekend.
The Country Inn is close to the Fairgrounds, clean and fairly new. This would be a great hotel for all Crossfires to unite the Friday evening or Saturday morning of the show!
There is a great .25 car wash near by for pre-show touch ups.

If possible I would like to join you guys for dinner @ the sunnyside on Saturday night. My wife is trying to find a babysitter so she can join me as well. She said @ dinner if I was going to the Sunnyside then she is not staying home. I'm looking into trying to come to the show but things have been very busy lately which is why I haven't been on here of late. Let me know if it's not to late to join you on Saturday,

yeah be prepared for 90's and humidity. Lately its been thunderstorms here in the afternnon as well. Make sure you guys bring your detailing gear. I got dumped on by mother nature on my way home from work last night, and there were storms today. For anyone still not registered its not to late. Online registration is closed but you can register Thursday - Sunday at the show by Gate 3.
