Update on XFi development
Re: Update on XFi development
Ah, particularly frustrating "mystery" of the old XFi. I look foward to quiet times after Woodward or Carlisle and sharing a cold beer or two, saying "do your remember when..."
FYI, I pushed the issue of relating serial numbers a membership numbers in order to aid in creating a registry of cars... The seniority issue is solved by putting the join date in the member number. EXAMPLE: John Smith owns a Coupe w/ VIN 012345 and Joins on Feb 1, 2009 his member number will be "012345-0090102" 009= year, 01 = day, 02=month. If he sells his car and the new owner registers and gets a later date. If John Smith is trading to a SRT6 - we will assign a new number combining his VIN with his original join date. So we can keep track of the cars and seniority pretty simply. And, create a history for the cars - previous owners - mods - etc.
All in all, we should try to be more excited about our cars than our registry numbers... I was XFi member #142 but I will gladly give it up for a more cohesive community; and I still will hold onto the old membership card as a keepsake.
NOTE: Charter members will have a special color membership card to identify themselves.
I spoke to patpur earlier today and I believe things are taking shape nicely; we continue to welcome your support - we can't do it without you; so you are important to us and the community.

If any one has trouble down loading it please e-mail webadmin@crossfireinternational.com or memberservices@crossfireinternational.com
and we will e-mail you the form.
You might want to make sure you update Acrobat reader before trying to open the form because Acrobat will try to perform a software update when it opens and that has caused issues in at least one unrelated instance I know of.

PS. you can 'right-click' on the 'here' and "save target as" to your desktop as well; this saves the form to your computer without openning it in explorer.

Re: Update on XFi development
I don't log on very often, but I would like to come on board as a charter member of CICCI.
I will sort out the details before the expiry date for membership and get my payment in.
Thanks to all those who have put in the time and effort to get CICCI to this stage. Great job. Well done.

Thanks Steve - how the members are numbered is up to Ray and FP. I just list when I receive the memberships. I'm not sure where RedCross (JD) is, haven't heard back from him. I know he popped in here.

Re: Update on XFi development
I'd like to thank the founding fathers and ask them to make their intentions clear. So future members will never have to ask 'What was the intent of the founding fathers'. Seriously gents, I dropped my app. and my check in the Red White and blue box tonight. Thanks again!

Re: Update on XFi development
I apologize to all of you for being absent to this thread. I have been super busy at work, including weekends with a project. But, you are all in very good hands with all the directors of the club. Thanks guys.
I see the applications are coming in, and I want to encourage all of you to join. We can go so much further as a united and registered club as our cars become older and no one to support them.
Soon to come we will have merchandise available for club members, and all proceeds will go to the club as well.
Thanks, I look forward to having a great car club with all of you.

Re: Update on XFi development
Just curious,
Will there eventually be a MEMBERS ONLY link on the forum? Will there possibly be Members only deals and discounts???
Just some thoughts!

There will be a Members Only Forum at the club website and eventually a "donation alley" with various "thank you" items; as an NPO we have to structure it accordingly - but I think you will be satisfied.
And, it will be entirely separate from this forum.

Re: Update on XFi development
Sounds great and I look forward to the fun. I wish some of us weren't so far from Home Base. I assume local chapters to support the International will be encouraged. Hopefully there will also still be a presence on this forum to encourage new members. I know everything is still evolving.
Thanks for all of the hard work!!!!!!!!!!
