OK folks I spoke with Senna (Dave) today briefly and he has chosen to give up his responsibility to continue his involvement with the XFI memberships and has actually withdrawn himself from being active on this forum for personal matters which have nothing to do with this forum or it's members.
Life throws some curves our way at times and it seems that Dave has his hands full and has had his hands full and has simply not had time to focus on these responsibilities.FP and I have spoken today and are in the beginning stage of getting things in order.

It's a good thing you live a few hundred miles away FP!

It scares me to think of the trouble the two of us could cause in a bar!

Maybe this year I can get enough time off work to hang out at the hotel to bear witness to any mysterious "bets" or poolside phone calls!

Gary and FP - When I spoke to Dave after Thanksgiving I offered my help to get things rolling again and basically was told I appreciate the offer. I don't believe anyone "owns" XFI. My understanding was it was given to Dave to handle by Redcross who moved on to the Charger Forum. I tried contacting him (Redcross) through his e-mail on this site and never got a response. What surprises me in all of this is when Dave and I would hook up at Olney and Burtonsville cruise ins we always talked about organizing some runs and how great it would be if we could do it with XFI. We had talked about maybe setting something up for the fall and nothing happened. So I think we can make it live, just have to figure out how. I have to think Andrew knows how to get stickers made, from that point its what do we want this organization to do? Over on the PT Forums where I came from we had a window sticker, you got a different one with every 1000 posts, and you could buy a T shirt. They had a once a year at Niagra Falls. Last one I recall they had almost 500 people.
We don't have to have something that large but it would be nice to have something people can belong to and show it. Perhaps this Forum could be renamed Crossfire Intl. and if you want an official membership you pay the 10 bucks and get your sticker but keep it so everybody is welcome.
I also only think its fair that the current membership of XFI vote to either continue or disband. I mean no dis respect to Senna but its not right for the current members and those who want to be a part of a Crossfire group to continually not get any answers. Either we have a Crossfire Club or we don't.
Pat

It won't let me in. And yes, I've registered. Any clues?

If you have not gotten access to XFI members only yet and have paid the XFI membership fee we will be working toward getting you access. We (me and FP) will be in contact more with Senna and try to pick up the loose ends and move forward. Please be patient as we have not worked out all the details of how to go about all this yet. Just take comfort in knowing that steps are beginning to be taken to bring this section back to life. Thanks , Gary

Why Brotherhood? Are woman Xfire owners not welcome to join? I know there are several definitions but the obvious one seems unwelcoming to me. Just one woman's opinion.

Brotherhood was just an idea kicked around before Dave/(Senna) disappeared. I agree it should just be The Crossfire Organization, Club, Forum, Club whatever so everyone is included. I think that was Dave's intention and it just never got past "brotherhood".
Thanks to FP and Gary for trying to figure out what to do with this. I have ideas if and when you guys are ready.
Thanks - Pat

We will pull you in. This needs to be a group effort. Later I will provide a conference bridge so those interested in brainstorming can participate.

For right now we are restructuring the XFI membership area.
At his request Senna is no longer involved with membership requests.
Nobody can join at this time.
We are using the poll to determine interest level in creating a new membership forum and the polling will last until May 8th.
Conference calls will be arranged after the polling closes for member discussion going forward.
Keep posted here to see the ongoing progress and thanks for your vote.

If you have access to the XFI Members only section CLICK HERE to vote in the poll regarding XFI memberships.
Start by reading post #25 by FP.

If you do not have access to XFI members only section then CLICK HERE to vote in the poll in another thread here in the
XFI discussion area.

Thanks everyone and be sure to take a moment to vote.
PLEASE VOTE IN ONLY ONE POLL - NOT BOTH - THEY ARE THE SAME.
There is a vote category possible for every member in this forum.
