there is a mounting adapter kit on ebay (bought one a few years ago) that lets u put one of the adapters supplied to the crossfire mount , then mount the std mirror or monitor to it. there is one that has 3 or 4 adapters in and it works in the crossfire
the one i got was auto-voxx1pro/t2/ x000wfw9fd

Rearview Mirror Camlock-to-Wedge Mount Adapter Kit ebay

Thanks AMX for your prompt supply...I could not find the bracket adapter kit on EBAY. Can you find it? I'm wary to purchase a system which may present mountingting problems. Thanks for your help. Sojo

the one that works on the crossfire is
auto-voxx1pro/t2/ x000wfw9fd
google AUTO-VOX
put in both numbers X000WFW9FD and or AUTO-VOX X1PRO/T2
i have used this and i know it works.

This is my solution for a roadster.. Mounted it below license plate, ran wire behind license plate to trunk. removed the rear cover in the trunk and ran the wires behind the body metal over to the drivers side wheel well. Picked up reverse power from backup light. ran the main cable through the bulkhead, careful of the moving pieces of the top mechanism. ran the cable down the carpet just behind the door to under the door sill up the front door trim to the area of the camera mount. A word to the wise, a mirror with the monitor built in does not work well in a roadster. with the top down there is too much light and the mirror/monitor brightness is insufficient to provide a good image. Depending on the camera you have, you might have to rotate it 180 degrees.

Shamrock, that is a good write up for the roadster , as everything else in this thread is for the coupe.
seeing where u mounted your camera ,,alien tape would work the best.
