Default Radio/CD/Nav volume on/off and volume control don't work

One day the on/off and volume control stopped working. The radio is always on, can't turn it off or change the volume level. I eventually got the CD out of the unit. I had to take the fuse out to turn it off. Any suggestions? Can I get a repair schematic anywhere? Should I replace it as a last resort? With what?(an aux input for my Ipod would be nice). Thanks for any help.

These work and look good. Only problem is the display is hard to see in the sun. Sounds really good with the factory speakers also.
You can also find an original here on the forum. Many have changed their good working one's for one with more functions.

Here is everything you need at a good price if that is what you go for.

I did some more research in looking for my Crossfire Infinity radio information.
The name Infinity is only the car's name for the radio. On eBay I found some of
these radios for sale, but very few with the NAV option. As I looked at the photos
on eBay, I found the manufacturer, type, and model numbers. The manufacturer
was Harman/Becker Automotive Systems, Germany. The type: ZH 29, model:
BE 6811 (for the NAV) and BE 6806 for the standard rado. These radios were built
specifically for the Crossfires, so there are not many of them around, except for the
recyled ones. I found a sorce for repairs, Becker Auto Sound LLC in Saddlebrook,
NJ, phone: 201-773-0976. They advised me that no schematics for repair were
available. I was told that similiar radios were made for Mecedes, and Porsches
around 2005. Even though I had removed the fuse to "reset the Radio" that did
not work. They suggested removing the rear radio connector for a reset. I had to
order the two keys for the lower slots to remove the rado from the dash. They
cost $ 4.00. I did it and the radio problem cleared.
