Default Alarm Triggering from Glove Box Sensor

I have been tracking down the cause of the alarm randomly triggering on the roadster. My first step was to replace the siren, but that did not solve the issue. I then checked the trunk and, thankfully, it was bone dry. Since I needed a new set of tires, I had the shop run the fault codes for me and it turns out the glove box sensor is tripping the alarm. I have seen some posts where others have had the same issue with the glove box and have disconnected the sensor wire to prevent the fault. Can someone tell me where the wire sensor is and how to get to it to disconnect it?

Something else interesting, before I got a chance to pull the fuse to stop the alarm from going off in the middle of the night, the new siren stopped making noise. The alarm system itself is still working, but no beeps on lock or unlock and no sound when the alarm is going off, randomly or not. When the shop ran the codes the siren came back as "Incorrectly coded." The technician said that the siren is supposed to be coded to the car. I have not read in any post that anyone else has had this issue after replacing the siren module. When I replaced the siren I just unplugged the old one and plugged the new one back in. Did I miss a step where it was supposed to be coded to the car?

Thanks!

I have replaced sirens on other member's cars and it was plug and play.

When I replaced Mine it was just plug and play as well. It's been 6 months and no issues. I know the SKREEM needs coding, but have never herd that about the siren module.

I suppose it is possible that the alarm just died from going off so frequenty. I'll put the old one back in to see if it still works OK.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the glove box sensor?
