Default Sick factory alarm, help please

Hi, I noticed my alarm did not work, I had locked the doors with keyfob and left windows down and opened doors by reaching in and opening from inside to test alarm and nothing happens. I assumed it was the siren and I read about people replacing it with a couple of benz replacements and also giving them the added benefits of chirp when arming and disarming so I thought I would order one of those up from eBay and replace my old suspected dead one and all would be a well. I got the replacement one (used but good condition) and still no alarm at all much less a chirp notification? Is it possible to turn the alarm off with factory programming at dealer with the special Chrysler dealer programming tool? Does anyone know pin-outs of alarm connector so maybe I can check for voltage presence at connector or apply voltage (to the correct pins) on my old and new siren to test them?
thanks in advance for your help.
